Parked on the housing estate behind that pub near the away end with no bother last time. 5 mins walk.
Don’t know about village pubs nearby at that time on a Sunday. But JJ’s, Royal Dyche and Burnley Cricket Club open from 8am all licensed.

If you go to the pub that time on Sunday you will miss the game by 24 hours

Accy might be your best bet if not wanting a pint
in Burnley. Weatherspoons and others.
Parking you might be better off up Livesey Branch Road,
ant looking for a side road off there.

Well you'd actually miss kick off by 19.5 hours if you want to be pedantic

Thank you. Given kickoff i fancy parking somewhere and walking up to Deadwood. Accy might be a bit far. Anyone know any good closer villages to walk in from?

I live in enemy territory, if you come off the junction for the footy ground, then almost double back on yourself at the roundabout, assume you're coming from the Burnley direction that is, that takes you to lower Darwen.
There is some street parking around there, and also a Brewers Fayre type pub on your left, I'm not sure whether that will be open on Police instructions though..
From Lower Darwen it's about 15 minute walk to the ground. Just remember there is zero st parking around Deadwood as it's all resident parking permits, plus they're expecting circ 27,000 so will be much busier than it normally is. .Anything else, give me a shout!

Theres also Darwen centre, visiting fans are always there and 2/3 of their coaches. Theres a pub called the Chapel, and the Bridgewater that they usually use.
Not sure what the Police situation will be though regarding the Derby with this option, I'm sure if you just want a couple of pints there won't be an issue. You're looking at about a 40 minute walk to the ground from there though.

Spoons in town serving from 10am - suspect Darwen will be the same.

Foaling only 10 miles away from the much more palatable Burnley is Blackburn
It is known for it's afillyation with the local wildlife and an unstable relationship with their neighbours
Due to the excitable and livery nature of the locals
Do not travel by carriage
Leave at least two seats empty per seat you are sat or stud at, it's how the locals seem to prefer it
Entering the local football ground can be a bit of a mare so arrive early
Remain vigilant at all times and do not interact with the locals no matter how much they may nag you
Stable footwear is required due to the uneven standing between the local football team and the super Clarets down the road.

Contemplating The Premier Inn, just off J4 but that might be a bit too far? In fact scratch that, that's where the Brewers Fayre Pub actually is!

I've been asked from a friend of mine who is an Ewood Councillor, but also a Claret, NOT to park in any side streets as they are covered by resident parking and they have a full enforcement on duty so you can expect a parking fine if you do.
Alternatives are car parks as below with post codes - you will need to be there early to find a parking place. The first one listed at Darwen Vale will be open from 9:30 a.m. and there is a £5 charge.
Darwen Vale 120 spaces BB3 0AL
Golden Cup – 40 spaces BB3 0AJ
Brook Industrial Estate – 90 spaces BB2 4JZ
Fernhurst – 40 spaces BB2 4JP
Verifyne Plastics – 100 spaces BB2 4PA
Brown Cow – 20 spaces BB2 4LU
Mill Hill Club – 30 spaces BB2 4EZ
I believe there is an outside fanzone open from 11 for away fans outside the Darwen End.

I parked at the premier inn (few quid in advance) when we won the league, it isn’t a bad walk down at all, little bit of incline on the way back but not too bad and straight on the motorway after. Doing the same again tomorrow.

Not the exact thread for it but didn't want to start another one. What will the fanzone be like tomorrow? How many do we think will be there? Don't want to go down and there be about ten folk because they're watching elsewhere!

If you go up Livsey Branch road you will be conspicuous after the game as they will lock us in and only let us out of the compound nearer to Lower Darwen . Similar to the no go areas at Turf Moor. Only Burnley fans will be going in that direction
Keeping on the Darwen side of the ground will be easier

Rammed, but easy to get served.
Not sure on their pricing structure though!
£5.60 for 2 pints, first round.
£5.90 for 3 pints next round.
Didn't complain.
