Has anyone been on? Normally, by now, I'm laughing at someone's comments.

Surely, they won't let us down.

I have and they are mostly moaning about their players and lack of investment.

It's usually all about how much money we have (spent!) which conveniently overlooks the "Walker Years" weirdly!

"Did I really hear the stadium announcer saying "have a good afternoon" after the game in a really enthusiastic voice as thousands trudged out completely ****** off?

Also imagine letting there players parade our corner flag around like that and just toss it onto the ground when finished.

Another dark day in the history of venkys fc. "

Oh and they also forget about the parachute payments they've had and spunked away because (apparently!) we're the only club relegated from the PL ever to get them!

Knew Zian's corner flag routine would go down well.

Cant be as embarrasing as this board after a defeat (or a 0v0) We have some right babies waiting in the wings

Tbf, given their budget and owners theyre doing alright this season, i dont see them finishing top 6 but they wont be far off.
Ill not give them a second thought now, just glad to get them out of the way.

Awww, bless their little cotton socks.

Mind the gap you blue and white boys and girls.

Shout out to the Rovers fans (average age of around 15) who thought they wanted to take on the police at the end. What a set of "special" ones.

Only this morning there were some people on here saying SP should go. Some proper wet wipes on this forum, and no doubt they would have been spamming the shite of this place if we'd lost today. A win and there's hardly a peep.

Sorry, on a roll now.

I've edited the language:

"Their GK, with the basin-cut hairdo, was an absolute p*nis, wasn't he?
As soon as they scored, he was giving it the big one to the Blackburn End and didn't stop - then all of the time wasting and girly run-ups for goal kicks, etc. "

Yeah I can't stand them as a club, but some of the stuff that gets said by both sets of fans is pretty awful and unnecessary. I am pretty confident any decent person would be embarrassed if all their friends and family were watching them say such things (and possibly sacked if their bosses were watching).

For context the years rovers where in the premier lge they spent just short of £750m, which given inflation for what weve spent since 2000 - would push them over a £1b spent to be an average championship team.

The JW song is pathetic and tarnishes us all and I do not sing it.

All football fans are guilty of it though unfortunately.

Some of us will remember them singing about Ben Lee following his tragic death at Turf Moor.

Most clubs sing pretty sick songs about their rivals. None of it is right but it happens at football.

They love referencing a title win from the last century as though it was last week, but have completely erased their unprecedented spending to achieve that.

And our £100m spending. I mean, I’ve long since lost track of our player trading but didn’t we sell £100m worth this summer? And we’re still miles better than those scruffy little plebs.

They seem to think the game is only played on the pitch. We’ve been in and out of the Prem since 2009 — were our finances really any different to theirs back then?

We’ve played a much better financial and organisational game for 15 years. If they want a squad worth £150m, perhaps they can start making better decisions today and then they might have one come 2040. UTC!

They were banging on about parachute money 2 seasons ago when the players we had bought was from the money we'd raised from selling. We'd made a net profit.

On a positive note, our applauding their deceased fans went down very well. It was much appreciated, by the radio callers.

I worked in Blackburn during our dark days of Orient and years in the 4th Division whilst they had Uncle Jack's money, King Kenny and their Premiership title win. Had some good banter with decent colleagues but there were one or two who always had some nastier comments to say about us. Every win now makes me think about those nasty ex colleagues and gives me a warm feeling that karma is a wonderful thing and what goes around does come around.
Well done you Clarets today, always proud to be a Claret.......

Further context - when “winning” the Premier League they spent more money than any other team had ever spent before - globally.

The wages bill was the highest as well

I just wonder if they are really dense and can't work out that we have sold many of our best players to assemble this team. We sold three in the last close season and one after the start of the season. We have never been bank rolled like they have and still are.

I think some Burnley fans are over self critical re the main Walker song IMHO.
Is Jack Walker dead .....? No venomous lyrics about how he died etc just a stark chant confirming that your biggest ever benefactor has gone
Do we want the Venkys to continue their alleged chaos at bstards ( despite them spunking away millions over the years that the banjo players seem to ignore)... yes.
The Walker in a box and big fat Jack etc are not nice at all as its personal.
Just my opinion.
