Good morning y'all

This weeks foodcount is something I've never had before but very much looking to try.

Presenting to you a 185g cup of the excellent Samyang's take on Tteokbokki (Aka, topokki and a few other spellings).



The contents are a sauce bag, a bag of "rice cakes" and the cup itself.

I'll be looking for;

NUMBER of cakes

WEIGHT of drained sauce

EMPTY WEIGHT of cup and lid

I'll be offering as usual, 5 points to the nearest guess, 10 for a correct guess.

I'll close the count around 7pm on Friday.

Not a bloody clue Tarky about this oddity so my guesstubmates are as follows.

I also thought rice cakes were flat and digestive shaped, so I've learned something new.

Tried Habanero and Lime and Carbonara flavoured Samyang noodle packs a few weeks ago and they changed my life.

Worked up through the spice levels of Shin cups and couldn't do red. I'll not go into the finer details of it but I wasn't walking right for days.

But yeah I'm into Buldak everything. The curry, carbo and 2x are great. I'm on a diet ATM so I only get to eat lunch like once every week or so and I'm really looking forward to these. I've had 3x a few times and if Shin Red does that to you I'd recommend staying far far away! Habanero lime ones were ok to me but the zesty flavour was a bit too much. As a side note Indomie Mi Goering are fantastic too and not particularly spicy!

I'll let you know what the tteokbokke are like

Not entering (because we never win when I do) but this stimulated me to check at our local Korean store and lo and behold they have this. So I bought one. Hope it’s good.

Number of cakes = 28



Drained Sauce = 38g



Weight of container = 39g



So with a correct guess of 28 on the cakes, Croydon Claret was bang on so gets 10 pts

Les Latcham was 2g away on the sauce, gets 5 pts

and finally Bosscat and Claretblue were both 1g away for the container weight and get 5 pts each.

Overall, some very good and close guesses from nearly everyone. Had fun doing this. Looking forward to sampling this in a minute - thanks for taking part and heres to another 3 pts tonight!
