The 3rd round is complete after the Leyton Orient-Derby game concludes, so I suspect we will hear tomorrow sometime. (even though they have probably decided on all the TV fixtures already)

We will probably now have to wait for some agreement on the televised games before things are confirmed

That train is operated by Cross country, not Avanti. Takes just over 4 hours. Tickets available and you should be able to get the price down with some creative ticket-splitting (TrainPal is usually good for that)

Anyone going by car, I haven't checked recently, however, on my last visit to St Mary's, I parked at Shamtock Quay. 3 hours free at the time. You have to input your car reg into their system but that's all. Saints fans use it too. Short walk to stadium. Not a quick exit.

Shamrock shows as 2 hours free now, then £5.50 for 2-4 hours.
Southampton can be painful to park in, but so can most big cities.

For anyone stopping in Winchester enroute to the game. If you go down the ginnel opposite Claire’s on the High Street, the Bakers Arms is welcoming Burnley fans, cheap ale, Sky TV, a regular haunt of ours, they’re putting on extra staff to accommodate us, so please support folks. £21 for 7 wets!

We we're in the Yates on above bar street the other night. It was abit rough in there, about as rough as some Burnley pubs
We were advised by a local at the hotel not to wear team colours around most bars in Southampton, apart from the actual day of the match.
After being in the Yates, I could definitely see why lol.

We’ve had trouble getting in bars/pubs after the game in previous years if your colours are on show.
We usually go in Yates before match. It can be a bit ‘edgy’

Ahh, we'll make sure we bring a bag for hats/scarf and zip up our coats.. for after the match.

Yeah it's decent priced in there, just stunk of weed upstairs and a couple of groups of rough looking lads around giving us funny looks.. and that was without any team colours lmao. Then usual scruffy looking alchies around the bar area.. and a homeless person outside the front door.
Later on we heard somebody downstairs chanting the 'wash you're mouth out son, go get your fathers gun and shoot the pompey sc*m' chant while upstairs playing pool.
We definitely didn't leave as it just reminded me of some of the pubs you get around Burnley such as the red lion. But I definitely wouldn't have felt comfortable if I had some blue Burnley away top on there haha. To be fair, this was just a regular Tuesday night.

By Car
Southampton FC advises visiting fans not to travel by private car into the surrounding areas of Southampton. Due to parking restrictions operating on a matchday Southampton FC recommend making use of public transport wherever possible.
Parking
Please be aware, Southampton FC do not offer general parking at the stadium. Parking may be available for cup matches and would be bookable via the ticket office on 02381 780 780. Away fans have four accessible spaces allocated each matchday and bookings can be made via visiting club.
Accessible Parking
If you're an away supporter and require blue badge parking, you need to contact your own Club. If you buy a space at the stadium, it is advised to arrive at the South Car Park entrance no later than 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off, due to road closures that are put in place.
If you're unable to arrange a space at St Mary’s, we advise visiting fans not to park in areas around the stadium due to parking restrictions operating on a matchday. It is therefore recommended that you make use of public transport wherever possible. There are plenty of car parking options nearby, including:
Multistorey car parks:
· Westquay Shopping Centre – SO15 1ST
· Ocean Village – SO14 3TL
· Bedford Place – SO15 2DB
· Grosvenor Square – SO15 2UA
· West Park Road – SO15 1FZ
· Marlands – SO15 1BA
· Eastgate – SO14 3HB
Accessible Drop Off and Pick Up Area
A drop off and pick-up area is available for fans. This is found outside the Main Reception area, next to the Ted Bates statue. Access is via Chapel Road and Granville Street to the south of the stadium.
This is available for vehicles for set down and pick up purposes. However, please note that due to road closures, this area will be busy on matchdays.
Please be aware that any vehicles parking in this area are likely to be towed away. If you need assistance getting from the drop off area to your entrance or seat whilst your enabler parks, please contact Southampton FC Accessibility Team on 02380 711 980 or by email
accessibility@saintsfc.co.uk.
By Coach
There’s free parking for visiting supporters who are travelling either by official supporters’ coaches, private coaches or minibus on Melbourne Street.
To book a space for an away coach or minibus, please contact PC Lee Grist via email
lee.grist@hampshire.police.uk
Coach Parking
If you are travelling by coach to St Mary’s, coaches will park along Melbourne Street.
By Rail
The closest train station is Southampton Central. This is a 20-minute walk from St. Mary’s Stadium. For more information on Southampton Central Station click on the link below:
https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations ... on-central
By Shuttle Bus
Southampton FC runs a dedicated shuttle bus service from two different locations for all home and away supporters – Southampton Central Train Station and Town Quay. The service starts 2 hours before kick-off for all first team matches and runs every 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Contactless payments are accepted.
Please be aware that the shuttle bus from Southampton Central Station picks up from the South side of the train station (Platform 4 side / Western Esplanade) and both shuttle buses drop fans at Britannia Road, just outside the stadium. The return journey also leaves from Britannia Road.
https://travelmayflower.co.uk/st-marys-stadium
Additional Bus Services
To get to St Mary’s Stadium, hop on the Bluestar 3, Bluestar 16, or Bluestar 18 which stops on Britannia Road, a short walk from the stadium. You can also catch the Bluestar 7, stopping at City College, which is also a short walk from the stadium.
Head to the Bluestar website to see timetables and plan your route: Bluestar website
Southampton City Council has set up a tool to help you plan your travel too, called My Journey Planner.

The away turnstiles and ticket office are located on the South side of the stadium between the Chapel and Kingsland stands. Visiting supporters can use turnstile E to access the away stand and the ticket office is also located in this area.

It's not that bad. Just further than the optimistic views previously expressed.
From the station it is uphill then down hill to the ground - opposite on return!

It's definitely safe, they're only letting Burnley fans in. Seen them turn away a few saints fans already.
Charging £5.20 for a pint of Amstel though, was about £3 last night haha.
