I think Sheff Wed are trying to blind Leeds so they won't score  . That shirt is a bit bright.

What’s that thing Leeds just did where they passed the ball behind the other team’s defenders?

Well that didn’t take long!

It was a great forward pass from Rothwell.

I'm assuming SP has identified that is what we are missing hence the interest in JJ Shelvey.

CJ Egan Riley is currently our best / only player capable of playing that type of ball.

Downes lucky to stay on the pitch for Southampton. He went into Gibbs-White with his arm across the neck. VAR said yellow stands.

What's his/her impression of Juric? I know points wise they've not had much change, but have performances improved much? Not watched them recently.

Captained Wood in FPL :D

Saints are poor however Forest are pleasing on the eye, Wood is having great season, good player, a proper CF.

I just wonder how Harwood Bellis feels. He was really good with us but it seems VK didn't fancy him. Is Egan Riley a better player at right CD?

I thought it was an overhit pass but the attacker seemed to anticipate it as he was running onto it.

Been watching Everton v Spurs, surely a sacking due. Spurs defence is really poor and the decent attacking players they have are just not performing as they should
Catching up with the other games via the BBC website it gives xG as .28 v .23 in the Forest v Saints game. No relation to the 3-0 scoreline.

It’s interesting isn’t it, a few months ago the media were hyping him up as the messiah. Now he could feasibly be sacked.

As boring as some of our play is, having a tight defence is really important.

He had a decent first few months but after the autumn of 2023 he’s been shite and massively found out.

He’s come across as a massive knob in his interviews as well. No wonder his players have given up on him.

VAR in the Forest game, 1 goal checked for a while in case a finger was offside then Forest have one ruled which was questionable. Goal prevention at its best.

Ange Postecogleu won the PL Manager of the Month Award 3 months in a row in August/September/October 2023 and is one of only a select handful of managers to achieve the feat. There were plenty of posters on here worshipping at the altar of Ange describing him as a “breath of fresh air”. It wasn’t just the media.

Tend to disagree on him as a person. Think he comes across as down to earth, always questioning rules, changes, VAR, problems with the modern inconsistency of everything, etc. He never bullsh*ts and says it how it is. But clearly, something isn't working on the pitch this season.

Indeed. In the old days those would be counted as level and no one would bat an eyelid. The irony is that those are the type of very marginal errors that var was never really intended to resolve. It’s the glaring errors that always caused (or still cause, below the premier league) the concern.
