A joke that never grows old. Being honest I remember the sheer entitlement of one Bolton supporting mate who said “why are you upset, Coyle was bound to go to the bigger club. We will always be above you”. I remind him of it every now and again.

Came across as a bit of a knob. I wouldn't let Horwich back into the Championship anyway, not until they move back to Bolton.

I gave it to Vernon Kay about this a couple of years ago when he was calling us on a post by JJ Watt. Initially he replied saying he didn't know what I was referring to, then when I responded about the 10 years comment, he replied "oh yeah, that aged well didn't it" before he deleted his messages a little while later

Remember very well some epic keyboard brawls with a guy called Majorca Trotter. Another frequent poster on here was extremely ferocious too. Often wonder where Trotter is today

I think the Bolton fans had just about had enough of him. I’m amazed he didn’t go after their abject show in the play off final against Oxford.
