Always has been mate. It was like Beirut on a Saturday night in the late 90’s

It's immediately outside our digs. We had to ask to be allowed through the police cordon last night to get into our place and the police and cordon are still there this morning as I write and we'll have to negotiate our way back out to get to the station. We've spoken to them, but they're staying tight lipped.

PS. Not football related in any way.

Rough area, as are so many other places nowadays. My wife, who originates from that area, wanted to go down. I said ‘no chance’.

It's a large military town/city. They are always fighting when alcohol is involved.

Sorry, meant to put GB news followers. There was a post on Facebook this morning and all the comments assumed it was terror related.

Spent some time in Plymouth in the 90's.

Another 4 just now outside an Asda in London. Maybe Khan should focus on this instead of ULEZ.

That's the problem. Mayors, Politicians etc are more interested in saving the planet than they are of saving our immediate population!!
