The worst game of football I have ever watched

Not 1 shot on target , no attacking threat at all. Never seen as many mis-placed passes.

Both sets of fans silent in boredom.

Iv 100% seen better quality in Sunday league.

What an awful advert for the Championship that was, if any of these 2 teams go up they will get murdered and go down with the lowest points total ever.

HOW are we where we are in the table ? This is the worst championship I can ever remember.

Parker has to come under some criticism for not going for the win, especially at home, Foster should of been whipped off after 20 mins, game was crying out for Hannibal to come on earlier and smash someone, can’t remember one crunching tackle to get the fans going.

Only positive is Esteve, way too good for this league. Going to the very top that lad.

Massive overreaction. However, there will not be one manager in the Premier League worried that either of us will be joining them next season.

Yes, Leeds stifling defensive tactics made for a poor game.

Great point for us

Once Sheffield lost and Sunderland drew, as Warnock alluded to, this was always only going to be one result.

Parker was terrified to change things in case of a negative effect so left Foster on way too long. I'm sorry but that was a cowardly display, it's not often I've had to say that.
The team was set up in complete fear of the opposition and that had spread to the players as well. I'd love to see the stats on Humphreys passing. I don't even think he knew which was he was shooting with the amount of times he turns out and goes back to keeper/cb.

We need a left back, a creative central player, 1 or 2 wide men and a striker. It's not going to happen but they are all clear weaknesses in this team.
We have been bailed out all season by the centre backs being an absolute revelation and it's seriously papering over the cracks

Great point against the best team in the League
Watched on TV from my home in Lincoln
If we had thrown more attacks at Leeds and they broke on one and we were short at back and lost 1-0’then it would have been a disaster
Perhaps you should watch Padiham if they attack sides and that is what you want

I do watch Padiham and I can tell you it’s a lot more enjoyable than watching Burnley, currently on a 11 game winning run and scoring bag fulls of goals, and set up to actually try score goals rather than just to not concede them.

Chose not to do the long drive tonight - work tomorrow, bad weather, family with school and evening activities.

What a feeling to choose not to go to a top of the table clash.

But……our game tonight, though easily predictable (anyone in the prediction league who didn’t predict a draw was a fool), it was also our choice. We didn't try to win the game.Parker knows the next 6 games for us and Leeds could easily see us top. He plays it like a long game of chess.

Boring. But it should get us up.

I don't get the correlation between being defensively sound and getting the lowest points tally of all time in the Premier league. Whatever you think of the style and entertainment value, I'd put a lot of money on this team getting more points than we did last season

In one way that's correct but these games where we have decided to declare before we've kicked off, will be scrutinised in May if we miss out on the top two.

In isolation a point against Leeds is a decent result but this performance has been replicated too many times this season. Risk averse, safety first football. A very frustrating watch.

*and before anyone suggests it, I'm in no way a member of the 'Parker Out' fanclub.

To think we never put that flappy keeper under zero pressure all night. We only had to pea roll one towards goal and he’d of tripped over it into the net. Both the ball and him that is.

It was the game to play rather hesitant tactics. The issue's the previous home draws against bang average sides.
With our toughest games of the season now out of the way it's time to start taking a few more risks and going for automatic. The worst outcome is we finish in the playoffs, which is pretty much guaranteed now!

Yeh bring Hannibal on to smash someone and get a red card that'd work well, can't be to inspire us to victory because he's been garbage since he signed.

A bitter sweet game for me.
We've stopped the top scorers in the league from notching in both games, with only really one shot of concern for Trafford. The defensive record continues.

I understand Parkers tactics without the ball and it was textbook. Rigid framework, pressing at the right times, without over commiting, in the full knowledge they have players more than capable of breaking the lines. When they approached the box, we came narrow leaving no gaps and essentially suffocated them. Piroe might as well have been sat at the side of me for all the ball he got.

With the ball was the problem, playing with the handbrake on, frightened to death of losing the ball with men pushed on leaving us exposed, despite CJER and Esteve being at their imperious best and Trafford in fine form as an insurance policy.

No bravery to take a chance, challenge a defender or even have a pop shot at Meslier, who we know can chuck a few in on his night.

Frustrating, but taken 4 points from our main rivals.
This is one point gained and I suspect the 0-0 missed opportunities against lesser opposition earlier in the season are the games that could end up biting us in the arse, not this result

I dunno.

We had half a dozen to a dozen moments today where we were on the edge of their box or by the touchline 18 yards out. Then it is about what happens then. Buy some players with real flair (and defensive nous, because this is Parker), we could create and score. The two Flemming headers today were quite presentable.

So I feel when we have to score, we can. And when we add PL players, even more so. We just have a manager who treats being level as being one ahead.

Just frustrating that we are at home, have no shots on target, and have attacking players on the bench yet choose not to use them. Says so much.

I’m certainly glad I’m not a season ticket holder this season, that was a bloody awful performance. I understand it was against Leeds, but come on, we didn’t even try to get forward for most of the game. If we were to get promoted this season can you imagine how this midfield and attack would go on in the PL. It doesn’t bear thinking about. Esteve could handle the PL, the rest? Nah.

I felt sorry for the next generation watching that. What kid wants to be at school learning algebra and the likes all day to than go on the turf and watch a team pass backwards to the keeper all the game and not have a shot on goal?
