For your consideration I present a 400g tin of Morrisson’s Mixed Bean Salad the contents of which you are hereby invited to guess.
I am not going to attempt to differentiate between all the potential variations of pulses that are contained therein. Nor am I inclined to count the bits and pieces of peppers and sweetcorn added to no doubt enhance the flavour.
All I require you to guess, therefore, is the total number of mixed pulses and the amount of liquid jooooooose released by letting the can drain off in a metal colander for 5 minutes.
10 points will be awarded for a correct guess in each case, or 5 points for the nearest if nobody guesses exactly.
So come on you counters. With your support I am positive that we can motivate our beloved clarets to deliver a free scoring attacking performance to overwhelm the ‘U’s and secure all 3 much needed points.
