I've never rated Swedish furniture personally.

Which part of the island? Are you planning on renting a motorbike or just using public transport?
In any case, there are hot springs in the actual sea in the Sant'Angelo area in the south part: check out Baia di Sorgeto on google maps. It's a bit of a trek down but a real experience and free coz it's in the sea. If not, then in Forio there's a massive open air thermal spa park with loads of pools with varying temperatures (Poseidon is the name). Also have a walk up the mountain to the top; the views are obviously stunning on a clear sunny day. In Ischia town, the castle is supposed to be cool and interesting but personally never visited when I was there.

Enjoyed a week there some years ago, plenty of buses to get you round the island. We went to Poseidon expecting a day in the sun with lots of spa dips - it turned out a grey, cool day!!!

Think we are staying in Forio.

Will be going with a 6 month old so hoping for some young child activities as well if anyone knows any.

Yeah I’ve been a few times. Beautiful island. Stayed in Saint Angelo which is stunning. Firing is a short bus ride. There’s a nice square in Forio for eating etc. The Castello Aragonese in the main town, Port Ischia? was interesting. We went to the Giardini La Mortella which was lovely if you like plants and stuff :-)

Always loved the ferry ride to and from Naples. A great city I reckon

Depends how long your stay is but if you've enough time I'd recommend a day trip up to Milan. Brilliant city and known for being the fashion capital of the world

It's flat, more like most of The Netherlands.

We had a lovely week there a few years ago. Was very hot, I’d like to go again spring/autumn time.

Went last summer. It's absolutely lovely and the iconic castle was used in a variety of films including The Talented Mr Ripley, so well worth the trek up there tbf.

It's great to go to Naples - even if its just to appreciate Ischia more!

Actually I love Naples, one of my favourite cities.
