Had to turn the commentary off due to the infuriating co commentator who cant shut up and constantly talks over the actual commentary. Shame, it was a good atmosphere.

If the season ended now, the two play-offs would be Sunderland v Middlesbrough and Burnley v Blackburn.

How refreshing watching a match where both teams want to win. I will be livid if we have another 0-0 bore draw tomorrow night. Please can we get some shots away and give us some excitement? I can appreciate that I'm stating the obvious but the atmosphere will be far better if there's some goalmouth action and as with Sunderland's first goal a crude deflection can make all the difference. Have a proper go lads !

Please don't, have had nightmares about Flemming & Brownhill's celebrations coming back to haunt us.

Wouldn't want to meet either of these in a playoff

Got to agree. Would love Bellingham, Isidor, Le Fee, Neil, Rigg and Cirkin at Burnley. All walk into our starting 11.

People laughed when I said it but Le Fee is way too good for this league.
He’s a real talent.
I’m hoping Edwards is the difference maker for us like he is for them.

You tend to say lots of things lad, most of which has no substance.
Thats why people probably 'laugh'.

In attendance at the Riverside tonight.
Two observations. Boro’s back line there for the taking but on our visit barely laid a glove on them.
Sunderland look very strong offensively, they look set up to win games whereas Burnley set up not to lose. Albeit the winning goal was a laughable gift but was a result of Sunderland running Boro a bit ragged in midfield.

Sunderland look a good team to me. I thought so when they came to the Turf the other week and should have won, and again tonight. I think they’re a better team overall than Burnley, through the midfield and certainly in attacking areas.
We’ll have a job on getting above them and Sheff Utd to finish 2nd.

How nice was it to see some quick crosses into the box?! Low ones, high ones, first time ones. Felt like I saw more crosses in this game from either side than I have all season from Burnley.
