Thought he struggled at Ewood and didn't have the authority for a derby game. Obviously those who do the appointments thought otherwise.

Agreed - he didn't have a great game at Ewood but he's clearly highly rated.

One thing to be said about his Ewood performance - the corners we disputed in the crowd might have been correct judging by the footage on the highlights. It's not enough to transform his performance but it adds a bit of context.

Here's hoping he has a better game vs PNE.

Hopefully he will penalise shirt pulling which ignored plenty of at Ewood. Thinking back to the PNE game at TM , the opposition were quite robust , I’m not getting a good feeling about Kitchen.
