Hi all,

I'm in London until Thursday on a business trip.

Any suggestions for a boozer to watch the Hull match on Wednesday in central London?

Might be a tough one, most places probably showing Everton v Liverpool

Where abouts in Central are you?

Could be difficult I suspect. Lots of pubs don't have Sky+ (my local where I watch Burnley games doesn't) and there's a few other games on that will be more popular so you'll need somewhere with friendly barstaff and a few Sky boxes.

Near King's Cross then probably Mabel's would be my main bet, maybe the Dolphin. Failing that you may be in luck with a few of the more traditional boozers on Caledonian Road or the Escape up at Mornington Crescent.

I wouldn't go anywhere expecting it to be on though.

Thanks for the detailed response!

I'll probably give those boozers a try to check the quality of the ale so to speak, and if it's on, super, but it's not the end of the world if not πŸ‘πŸ»

Wonder whether 'London Clarets' meet up anywhere?
Though not sure how you'd find out.

Sports pub called The Rocket five mins down the Euston Road from Kings Cross station which normally shows multiple games on different screens. Give them a ring and they might put it on one of the TVs for you

Maybe worth trying one of the https://www.sportlondon.com/pubs chain.

There’s one in Islington, Northwood. They have multiple screens and if you call ahead you can normally get them to put one of them to the game you want.

Alas no. Was Champions League on everywhere I went. I forget who was playing, either City v Real, or Celtic v Bayern
