I agree. I keep asking (not anybody at Burnley FC of course) about him. Are there rumours I haven't heard?

The players will all be laughing at the revelation of some of the middle names. 'Harrington Traff?'

I guess with Beyer being left out and us having 2 free spaces, that's hime done for this season.

Beyers nowhere near fit. When I spoke to him about 4 months ago he was still in physical pain just moving around.

Means nothing, he could barely walk. He had to leave a game at half time when I was with him because of the sheer pain he was in. His friend had to ring a taxi

It would be a waste of a place if he was added to the 25 man squad whilst he’s eligible via the u21

Players under 21 at the qualifying time don’t need to be in the 25 squad. He’s on the u21 list.

Heard some time ago that it was very unlikely he'd play this season and that appears to have been confirmed with the squad release. It was clearly bad given it's already 14 months since he played.

I honestly thought after promotion he'd be one player that'd go up and up to the top clubs and internationally but he struggled so bad in the premier league that I can't see how he recovers from such an absence to reach the level required if we do go up again.
Such a shame he was fantastic two years ago he was as good to watch as anybody in that season.

He did struggle at the higher level but he had the disadvantage of playing at that level in a Kompany team and that didn't help.

Wasn't his last operation because they decided that they had found out what was actually causing the ongoing pain issues?
I saw some photos this week of him training outdoors, I think they may have been on Instagram, and he was essentially doing walking stretches, though there will obviously be lots of gym work going on too.

Must be pretty depressing reaching your 'peak' years and can't even play at all. Feel bad for the guy, hope he gets back to some level eventually.
