With the amount of attacking talent we have, Parker has no excuse in settling for draws.

Got a feeling we'll hammer them tonight but if we do struggle to break them down tonight and fail to win its gotta be on Parkers head in choosing to go safe and defensive.

In Parker's defence,he did say that he will be careful with the four players as they are not match fit.We will see as the game progresses if we need a goal,if and most importantly when he makes any changes

It won’t be easy tonight, Hull have been picking up some good wins on the road, having won their last three, I think.
Perhaps that is in Parker’s thinking. There needs to come a time, and quite soon, where we do look to go at teams a little more.
Continued home draws are not going to keep us up there.

According to BBC line up Egan-Riley is named captain again tonight, Cullen is usually next in line to Brownhill

He's sticking with an 11 that could have been 3 or 4-0 up vs Oxford and played very well. Not sure what there is to complain about.

Another negative line up at home.
Somehow he still thinks Hannibal is an attacking midfielder, he was excellent in a deeper role away at Southampton. He never has and never will be an attacking midfielder or winger no matter how many times Parker plays him there.

Evening all from a clear 17c night here in Mojacar .
You never know what we will get at home but hey you have to be positive , so start well and the bits should fall into place .

He won man of the match in the last home game in the same team and position.

Not surprised by the line up, although Brownhill seems to be missing a lot of games for a knock.
It's all about performance for me. We're not going to go mad like Leeds, but we do have to keep creating the chances we did against Oxford. Anything less is unacceptable.

Banal on the bench instead of Redmond or agyei.

Sarmiento ( after a great game at Saints and playing at home) in for Laurent. Very negative selection

Agree with you there KRBFC , play Hannibal alongside Cullen and Sarmiento infront of them . Anyway , come on you clarets.

Hull on the road are not a team to be trifled with. They have won their last three games to love, defeating the Blades, Millwall and Blackburn.

I don't think they're negative GetintoEm , they just want a more attacking lineup after all the 0 - 0 draws we've had .

Seems the norm. They want players who aren't match fit to start the match.

Looks the type of opposition where the game will be won on the bench. Sarmiento and Edwards could make a huge difference late on.

Foster who has produced absolute jack since he’s joined us, starting as a left winger. How many blind alleys will he run into tonight… if he can be bothered.

I don't disagree, but I think the reason people are negative is that we have attacking ability and don't seem to be able to put it to good use. Hoping we hammer Hull tonight though. COYC!

People want us to be more attacking, but we have been more creative when playing the formation like tonight. When we have dropped a CM for another attack we look worse.
The players just need to be told to move more. They are clearly being asked to stay too rigid for the football to be more free flowing.
Having such a strong bench is a welcome change by having genuine quality wide men waiting to switch things up

He’s done nothing. A waste of a shirt, especially when we have much better in the bench.
Watch this he’ll make 1 or 2 runs with the ball into trouble and you’ll be pulling yourself inside out as per usual.

CJER captain probably the most unsubtle attempt at getting someone to sign a new contract that I have seen.
