Re: Unbeaten run
Edit: remembered the answer to my own question!
Re: Unbeaten run
Very nuch so
Re: Unbeaten run
1 goal conceded from open play in these 19 games too.
Bonkers.
Bonkers.
Re: Unbeaten run
12 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat equals the same points total from two years ago.
Re: Unbeaten run
That one goal from open play came in the game where CJ was injured and Egan was playing as well.
The defence record is amazing, but its really impressive when you realise that when CJ ER and Steve have been playing as a pair we’ve conceded 4 (edit: missed the Watford goal in my count) goals in total, one of those being in the Sunderland away match.

Its a record I can't compare to any other Burnley teams and as such can't get my head around it tbh.Beckm0 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 11:24 amThat one goal from open play came in the game where CJ was injured and Egan was playing as well.

Under Ternent and Dyche we always had good defensive units, but this is something very, very special.
Now I can understand why City wanted to keep CJER more than THB, and combined with Esteve the partnership is formidable.
We also can't undrestimate the coaching they are getting, as John Egan has alluded to since he left.
