Colne town centre is close by too.

It's really classy there.

Watch out for Trawden Girl. You should spot him/her easily in their tinfoil hat.

While you’re in Trawden, you may want to try a hike up Bouldsworth Hill. Not too tiring and gives you some cracking views.

Trawden will always be home to me.

Walk up Bouldsworth

Visit the Trawden Arms for drinks/ food

Alternatively walk along the moor bottom, starting at Coldwell Activity Centre and reservoirs

Visit Wycoller

Walk up to Lumb Spout

When are you visiting?

I left Trawden in 1994. Lovely village, and surrounding area, or it was then.

Trawden's great.

The community-owned pub has a big range of drinks and does decent food.

The community-owned shop opposite sells very high quality produce (the stuff from Inghams butchers in the fridge is superb) and has a decent range of beers and wines you don't see everywhere else.

A walk up Boulsworth stopping off at Lumb Spout, or a walk down to Wycoller, both well worth it.

You can also avoid the (IMO overstated) Colne traffic by getting to Burnley over the tops.

Book it

There's a couple of Ravens around the top of Boulsworth, very noisy too.

Trawden is great, Trawden Arms is a decent community owned pub and the surrounding Countryside is stunning…..it’s my playground, I’m out for a run around Trawden, Boulsworth Bottoms, Wycoller and Ballgrove this morning…hopefully it doesn’t snow 😂
