Not funny to be fair, about time it went back to its proper name. Gimmick over.

Clever, but not a great name for a public house.
There’s a chimney sweep business locally where I live called “Up in Smoke”. Also not a great name, expressing the opposite of what you want to achieve.

The Royal Dyche is a great name and it will always be known as that now, celebrating a massive achievement from a Burnley legend why would you want to change it ?
No one I know refers to it as the Prinny now. ( ridiculous name change was the Clog and Spindle)

Unrelated, but there’s a joiner who’s named his company “Chisel me Timbers” that I see occasionally on my commute to work.
Always gives me a chuckle.

A baby's laughter is one of the most beautiful sounds you will ever hear. Unless it's 3am. And you're home alone. And you don't have a baby.

There is an award winning beauticians on Padiham Road named, " Hard as Nails ", and there was another hairdressers on Colne Road, I think now defunct, called " Curl up and Dye " ... In addition, I once frequented a Gift Shop in Oxford trading as " The Present Dilemma " ...

My grandad used to have the post office on Whalley Road in Accrington in the 80s before retiring to Yorkshire.
Went to visit a few years back when we played Stanley away in the cup.
Had changed to a beauty salon called Royal Nail. Nice touch.

Atalanta manager speaking about Lookman after he took and missed a penalty last night:
"Lookman was not supposed to take that penalty, he is one of the worst penalty takers I've ever seen," Gasperini said.
"He has a frankly terrible record even in training, he converts very few of them. Retegui and De Ketelaere were there, but Lookman in a moment of enthusiasm after scoring decided to take the ball and that was a gesture I did not appreciate at all."

Chisel me Timbers is very near to the WhatsApp group the 2 mps and other councillors had .and was called Trigger me Timbers,so that’s why I thought it was relevant to that particular comment.
