Re: Tonight’s Football
Not even a proper press from Liverpool and the Villa defence crumbles. 12 errors leading to goals this season.

Got to feel for the lad - reminds me of when Benson did something similar again Boro a couple of seasons ago
Needs to make up for it now

I’m watching Luton & Plymouth to remind myself what alehouse football at a professional level looks like.

Plymouth have just had a goal ruled out for offside.
Spoiler: The lad was at least a yard onside.

That was a truly shocking decision.agreenwood wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 8:19 pmPlymouth have just had a goal ruled out for offside.

Got to wonder what the linesman has seen there to give it. Didn’t even look offside in real time

Re: Tonight’s Football
The irony is, that’s the sort of bad decision where you want technology to intervene, not the really marginal offsides that take 4 minutes to rule on.

Re: Tonight’s Football
It’s gone under the radar a bit but Sam Waller is on loan at Rochdale and is making his eleventh appearance in goal tonight at the Shay. Four and a half clean sheets so far and only seven conceded.
Sounds like he is doing well at Spotland.

Re: Tonight’s Football
Yes. Those 4/5 minute taking decisions are frustrating!
Especially when, after a replay, most of us can see how the lengthy debate is going to end.

Sam Mattaface really does witter on about nothing in particular. Meanwhile a football match takes place.

3-0 Madrid. Mbappe hat trick

City have just dropped off a cliff. The gap looks as big as it did between us and decent premier league teams last year.

Excellent Villa Liverpool game made better by turning over and seeing City have been pumped. Madrid crowd doing Ole’s now. Cheating two hats.

I'd put them in the Northern Premier East so BPA could play them.

Shame the City game wasn't on Prime, it would have been enjoyable seeing Pep schooled once again by Ancelotti.
Did City take their silly little banner last night ?

Re: Tonight’s Football
I'd rather they stay where they are in the EPL. If they are relegated, they'll be unbalancing the league system. Let's have it right, most of their U21 academy team could walk the Championship.
