Well done, that one made me smile. Watched the last 20 mins back when I got home on Sky, and you could hear it loud and clear. Still going around in my head.

Sounded dreadful when I first heard it at Preston, sounded worse tonight.
Still, it keeps the crèche amused…

Best chant I’ve heard in years.
Hopefully 5000 crèche members singing it at Preston serves as a reminder to the modern player who doesn’t give a toss about any one of us, or respect our club in any way, that we’ll feel exactly the same about them should they be suspected of those things.
Encore, encore

Tbf i've had a laugh about the Tresor situation. But for all we know the stories about the lad being seriously ill have been true. The fact that he didn't leave in January makes me think this is the only logical conclusion now.

Might be overthinking it there, more likely we just found two names that rhyme with the Spurs chant about Levy and went with that.

Spurs chant? It's an FC United chant from whenever they formed about 15 years ago.
'I don't care about Rio, he don't care about me, all I care about is watching FC.
It must be the only derogatory song I have heard Burnley fans sing about their own player in nearly 40 years.
Congratulations to whoever started singing it.

It’s up there with the big fat Jack chant, embarrassing.
Do we honestly think the club would accept him to down tools and just take a wage. I’m of the belief his illness/injury was a lot worse than any of us know, as a result he physically can’t get up to speed and match fitness.
A good friend said last week, the club aren’t going to come out and say that he’s basically knackered. He’s an asset, and worth money as it stands, any chance of a resale goes the minute we come out and say he’s had ‘x’ illness and can’t get fit.

Forgot all about that, but I suspect most fans had too. Whereas the Levy chant has been loud on telly in last few months.
The often maligned NNN is one of our very few originals. ‘Come to Ewood’ also I think. Can’t think of a player chant of our own that’s genuinely original at the moment.

Makes me cringe. Could easily swap that word out. He's still our player and we've no idea what he's gone through. Glad we've got a new song but wish it wasn't a dig at tresor.

**** chant. For starters Shelvey’s never going to embrace a song that slags of one of his team mates.

If he’s downed tools (which no one knows)
Or if he’s seriously ill (which we know bits)
I choose not to sing it cause it does the club no favours just like I didn’t hammer Trafford last season
It either makes it even harder for him to come back
Or devalues a player we need to get maximum return for
Like trafford last season…. All the critics are very quiet now
If he comes back and preforms people may regret singing it
I do understand why people are frustrated though but just got to think of the bigger picture
Better communication by the club would help but that’s also not that simple these days

Why not sing songs about the players on the pitch instead of speculating about one that’s not available for reasons we don’t know about.

It's very cringe-worthy. No-one knows what's happened with Tresor and the club, so why base a song on guesswork and conspiracy? Supporters will look like absolute idiots if it does turn out that Tresor has been ill of some description.
During a 4-0 win, the loudest the Turf got last night was a song slagging off a Burnley player. Bizarre.
Shame really because with different lyrics it's catchy.

It's not a song I've been singing because I don't know the truth of his situation.
If Tresor has been ill as rumoured I actually do care about him and I hope that he makes a full recovery.
If the other rumours are true and he is doing everything that he can do to avoid playing, I don't care about him.
However if Shelvey fires a 95th minute thunderbolt winner at PNE next week the emotion may just take over me. and I may end up joining in the song. Sorry Mike.

The club could have avoided this chant, by telling us straight what the situation is with Tresor, instead of pussyfooting around with half stories and allowing the rumours to grow. We pay money to support the team and if one of our players, on big wages, is not playing we should be told why.

What’s worse was more than a few fans last season writing Benson off, calling him a sick note and a one trick pony when he was actually brilliant for us the previous season and scored one of the most memorable goals in our history.
The facts are that Tresor threw a social media strop in the summer when he didn’t get his move, and more recently Alan Pace is on record as saying that he’s fit.
If that isn’t the case then the club has to take some blame for the fans now turning against him for their continued silence regarding his absence. And for what it’s worth, the players didn’t look that bothered about hearing the chant about one of their teammates when they all ran over to Benson to celebrate with him in front of the fans.

He we go again with the “we should be told why”
Is it frustrating that we don’t know? Yes
Could the club have handled it better? Yes
Do we have a right to know? No
They don’t have to tell us anything.
Maybe it’s Tresor who has asked not to release the reason he’s not playing

No issues with having a go at Tresor, but it seems odd to me to spend so much time lauding a player who’s played about 10 minutes for us when so many players, past and present, have never been rewarded with their own song!

If he has had a serious illness or any illness for that matter no fans have the right to know that if the player wants it to be kept confidential.
On the other hand if he is continually finding excuses not to play it is not in the club's interest to alert other clubs that we have a £15,000,000 asset who is swinging the lead.

Embarrassing chant performed by people who are actually thick, wilfully ignorant or simply unpleasant. Or potentially some combination thereof.

Brilliant chant.
Hope that it's even louder at Preston.
Tresor has never been bothered about Burnley, he couldn't even make it on time when he missed the private plane that the club put on for him when he was coming over to sign for us. That was embarrassing!

Why are people being classed as thick who sing this song.
Tresor is taking the Mickey. We’ve all heard different slants on why he isn’t playing and from what I’ve been told he isn’t poorly and it will eventually come out but no one is aloud to talk.
No doubt I’ll be called thick for joining in but it is a choice and from what was ringing around the stadium it actually brought some life into a very quiet atmosphere.
My spelling and grammar aren’t the best I must admit so maybe you are right. Either way I’ve been very successful since leaving school and it’s down to bloody hard work and determination. I will carry on singing the song with the rest of the thick people with the knowledge I’ve put a shift in life and can sing what I want.

How about
I really care about Tresor
But does he care about me ?
Unrequited love
At Burnley FC.
Perhaps a melodic violin accompaniment from the Cricket field stand whilst a modern day tragedy is played out in front of our eyes.
For what it's worth I don't like the song, as a fan base we are better than slagging off a player.

Maybe just stick to the ones that aren't downright unpleasant? I'd probably avoid racism, glorifying people dying and sticking the boot into our own players when it's highly likely that they've suffered a serious illness. Other than that, you're probably safe.

It is not even that harsh, saying we don't care about a player who has contributed next to nothing since he arrived for a huge fee seems pretty mild to me.
The players didn't seem to mind at the end either.
