Think it's important to our prospects. Top player.

Crikey. I've only just realised he wasn't on the bench. Agree. Top player. Much safer than Pires

He was against Hull
He’s a level above Pires and worries me if he’s out for a period

He’ll be a big miss. I wonder if we kept a recall clause on either Dodgson or Delcroix’s loans.

If you think he'll be the difference, fine. I don't. I think the difference will be how many goals we score.

We’re down to one average left back and one back up centre half.
Let’s pray there are no more injuries.

I’m not sure how you can guarantee no more injuries. 6-8 weeks, if true, is a long time to get by.

I don't think anything has been said about Humphreys regarding an injury - I know that's often the case but not sure we should be speculating, as one poster has done, that he's out for a number of weeks.

Your initial comment wasn’t regarding the rules. I feel we’ve left ourselves a bit short at the back, which Parker has also agreed with in a presser. If we have lost our most versatile defender and best left back for 2 months then it’s really not a bizarre suggestion (rules aside, which admittedly make it redundant).

Letting Delcroix out probably wasn't the smartest move. He was backup for 2 positions. We were possibly guilty of being a bit too nice in the window in terms of letting people go who needed game time.

Thats a blow-the player has played a big part for the club this season. I guess we have no choice but to play Pires, but should Pires get injured or hit bad form, Connor Roberts could play there and we could probably play Sonne at RB, or even EJ @ FB and bring Worrall in. Sadly we have gone from about 7 potential CH's including Humphreys, to now three, but I guess Laurent could play there in an emergency

Why did you think I said guarantee? That aside it was foolish

Bad news if he’s out for a couple of months.
Maybe have to switch Roberts over if needed for certain games.
Not ideal

So because someone who has a record for posting false info suggests a long injury, people believe it.
I suspect he must have an injury or something having not been in the squad but absolutely nothing has been said as far as I can see.

Hopefully my mistake for interpreting a post incorrectly.
Question for the moderators though- why are people who regularly post false information not banned?

I suspect it’s quite difficult to know whether someone is
knowingly posting false info.
You wouldn’t want folk banned for just being wrong / misinformed. (imo)

Whatever the combinations available, the squad is strong enough to work through it and achieve our targets for the season.
Stay positive. So many people displaying negative thoughts, but wouldn't be happy if the players did the same. Players could feed off our positivity, if there was enough of it.

I’m not aware of what Tony is referring to as being my record of false information, although I’m sure I have posted things that are incorrect. To your point, I certainly wouldn’t say I do it regularly though.
Shame none of the journalists asked him after the game and will of course be delighted if I’m wrong and it’s much less serious.

Doubt beyer will play for a long while yet, looks like it will a long journey to return. Widely speculated that it could have been a career threatened injury. There was a picture when he returned to the club one leg looked Half the size of the other.

I can’t imagine he will play this season given he wasn’t included in the squad. We can add him with spaces being available but it must have been thought that he had no chance this season.

Good to have it confirmed, take comfort it’s muscular and nothing broken or ligament damage.

I know this will be pulled but it’s like immigration appeals
It doesn’t affect your chances if you lie at the appeal according to some of the latest judgements.

According to the BE he was injured in training and the club are waiting to assess the extents of that injury.
Manager Scott Parker revealed to the Burnley Express after the game that the 22-year-old had picked up an issue in training.

Not really. I don’t post any information I’ve been passed on to prove anything. I’d far rather he be back in the squad for Preston than my information be correct.

We sent players out on loan partially to reduce the wage bill. We're paying half the wages for edwards I believe , and I bet that's a fair sum. We're paying missing magic Mike for doing nowt , wonder what the wage arrangements are for the other loanees that get regular game time for us.
Promotion or not, it's gonna be a very interesting close season with a potential massive rebuild on the cards.

“I couldn't give any timescales on it, but he just felt his quad in training so he wasn’t available.”
Felt his quad doesn't necessarily mean he has actually done something. In the same way as "he felt his hamstring' just means a little rest and go again.
Won't be in the Cup, so thereafter maybe ok
