Another week, another refereeing masterclass.
Sunderland get away with a stonewall penalty with the ref looking right at it.

The game has started similarly to ours last week. Wednesday started well and missed a few chances. Sunderland now growing into it.

And you had the benefit of seeing it in slow-motion.
Never a pen...he dived.

If a ball strikes a PNE players hand up near his face in the box tomorrow, I’m wanting a penalty.
It’s not been hit at him from close range. It’s the first contact after the corner is taken. He’s completely misjudged it.

Sunderland get away with handballs at both ends, another useless ref possibly deciding results

And if it's not given, you'll shout obscenities at the ref?

An Owls win would put more pressure on Blackburn.

They weren’t great, but they’ve got quite a few injuries and Sunderland were arguably fortunate to win that.
I don’t think the pitch helps Wednesday. It’s in a bad way and they do like to get the ball down.

I was out watching the planets line up - the Wednesday defence were doing the same by the looks of that second goal.
