I like Scott, seems a decent chap but I hope he's told the players it was far worse than "fell a little short" today.

Wow. Whilst I appreciate SP is never going to come out and directly slag off his players, and call out individuals, I would expect just a little bit more than “falling a little short today”. A long way short would be more accurate. Very frustrating as we actually made Knobbers look a decent side.

Just back to the ' we started the game really well' from SP. There wasn't a period in the 93 minutes of the game that was 'really well', not even 'well' or 'okay'. It was truly abysmal from first minute to last. Like watching a bunch of players who'd just turned up and never met before. Can't think of any player that could leave the pitch with any pride in his performance.

Strange, he's normally honest and humble in his interview's.

We didn't play well at all in that first half, the first 30 minute's dragged on.. another snoozefest.

I remember checking the time and only 25 minutes had been player but it felt closer to halftime.

Knobbers goals livened it up, but only for them.
We've had many performances like that 1st half showing, but we haven't been conceding.. then nicking games or drawing 0-0.

Against Sheff Wed we nicked a goal totally against the run of play and changed the game. Today we fell behind before we had any chance to nick a goal.

The players won’t need to be told how bad they were. Brownhill in his post match interview said it was embarassing, which it was. There needs to be a reaction, but there’s no need for an overreaction.

I don't think anyone is over reacting tbh, it's was an awful performance but a win at Cardiff and it will be quickly forgotten

There’s only one person to blame for today’s poor effort and that’s Parker. Completely wrong selection.

If you type in a search on YouTube you will find footage of the game there, though as mentioned elsewhere there are no highlights.

Probably meant not shaking the hand of the alleged racist, not sure what went "really well" after that :?

He also said it was disappointing. That's true for all of us

He also said "we were pretty poor" and "we were second best"

So lets stop jumping on an understated phrase by our manager when he is struggling to find words on a poor defeat, and stop trying to dig him out. Please.

Feels harsh to go after Parker. The interview on the club website you can see he wasn’t happy and I’m sure the players will have been told. Brownhill interview says a lot too about how the players knew it wasn’t acceptable.

Nobody is digging him out, would be great if you didn't read too much in to any of it. Thank you

Indeed. Feel for the 5,000 but let's hope Robbie Brady's free-kick is the one we're going to concede.

Parker perhaps didn't make the right team selection, but there was more than enough talent on that pitch to compete. We just didn't compete at all, they were hungrier, more aggressive, more accurate. While I'm hindsight we make less changes, the players have to take responsibility today. It was a big opportunity for a lot of players, and none of them took it.

I'm sure I heard on the TV that Brady had played something like 88 times for PNE and that was only his second goal ! Good timing Robbie, thanks for that :D

Josh B said it all “embarrassing “…,,,and if he said that to us, what must he have said to the team….

They were sh’te to a man today which as professionals with any aspirations to be Premier League says a lot….

Surely Parker picked a team he thought could win………the team then let him down badly………credit to Brownhill who a while ago maybe had a dig at the fans, but today fronted it up and said it was embarrassing……………..hopefully a bit like the game against Spurs, today is the match that makes them go for it…….

UTC!

Once the players are on the field its down to them to show they want to be in the first team as starters, quite a few did nothing to make me think they should be in the starting 11 on Tuesday some should be not even on the sub bench

We were second to to many balls and just not enough fight, going down expecting a foul getting nothing means get up quick and be stronger.

A win at Cardiff will get us back on track UTC

Reassuring that Brownhill saw it the same way as pretty much everyone in that away end. Doesn't make it any less abject, or less worrying that those lads might be 1st choice next season, but still good to know.
