What a player and so important to us.
I was there last night and the difference in the midfield when he is not playing is huge - i.e Preston.
He’s the glue that makes us tick, a motivator, hardly misplaces a pass and battles above his size.
He stays fit - we go up ! He’s that important.

Him deep and Brownhill infront are best 2 in the league. Wish we’d just have more movement up top for them to try and find through balls.

He's the conductor, would love him to score a few more but appreciate his role in the side, one of the first names on the team sheet since he joined us

Most important player since the day he stepped through the door as Kompany's first signing.
That Huddersfield game - I thought we'd actually signed Pirlo in disguise!

He was definitely the one most noticeable by his absence in that horror show at Preston.

We would be overrun in midfield every week without him.

I think Cullen's importance to the team is more apparent when he isn't in the team. He is so under-rated and his contributions under the radar, I'm surprised VK hasn't come in for him at BM.

If he had a more exotic name he'd have over 100 caps for Brazil.

“He’s the glue that makes us tick”. An interesting concept......how does glue make anything tick?

It’s always got to be Cullen and 1/2 others , I only caught the first half last night but it looked as if both Brownhill and Hannibal were advanced of him yesterday. I would like to see Hannibal be the one who operates from a little deeper alongside Cullen to see how that goes.
Superb player

I think he will make a brilliant Manager in the future also.
A fantastic pro.

From the BBC
No player created more chances on MD1 of this season’s Premier League than Burnley’s Josh Cullen (5), his most ever in a league match for the club. It was the most by a Republic of Irishman in a Premier League game since Conor Hourihane created seven chances for Aston Villa vs Sheffield United in June 2020.

Performs a role similar to that which Mark Noble did at WHU another underrated player.
