Can anyone enlighten me - e-tickets

So, what’s the point of the Burnley App and the e-ticket? Just tried to use mine for the first time this season after driving 200 miles to get here, and it failed at the turnstile. Been told to go to the ticket office, but I’ll just wait for my lad who has my actual season card on him. If he wasn’t coming on with me, I would likely miss the start of the game today.
Shocking that in 2025 our club cannot get a simple thing like e-tickets right

The club email them to me and I’ve never had any problems using them at the turnstile.
Maybe just a glitch with yours today.

Was it double scanned?

I use mine every week, not had a problem. They also make me do it, unlike season ticket, maybe to reduce chance of a double scan

The double scan thing is a farce.
Young kids getting turned away after their parents have gone through. Surely it’s not that hard to check if the last scan was from the same terminal less than 5 seconds ago?
