Just very recently become a grandfather then the sad news his mother has passed away.

Sad news. As anyone who has lost a parent will know how painful a loss it is.

Incredibly sad news.

Hoping the birth of his grandson will bring some comfort to him and his family at this very sad time.

Life is strange sometimes. I hope he takes the time he needs to process what's taking place in his personal life.

Hear, hear. I've recently lost a parent and am going through the grief of it. My thoughts too are with Mr. Pace.

I don't use any mainstream socials apart from this site my online presence is very minimal. I think Mr Pace and certainly his daughter read this site.

If you read this Alan, I am sending you hope in the darkness that you will see the light at this time of conflicting emotion. God Bless. Let's hope the Clarets can help bring the joy to you and your family, and all of us over the next 2 months. Will keep you in my thoughts.

UTC.

Losing my Dad is the worst feeling Iv ever had but my saddest thought is the time he and my son never had together.

I lost my dad, a lifelong Claret, towards the back end of last year and it hurts every single day.

Thoughts are with Alan Pace and his family.

Alan's a good egg & doesn't deserve a knock like that. Sincere condolences.
