How many Saturday 3pm games have we had.. 5 or 6 is it?
Mad how quickly that tradition has disappeared. I know it's been creeping in for a long time, but this season it's just gone. We used to build our weekend around the Turf but use non-league for that now and watch Burnley if and when we can make it.

Don't really understand why they had to mess with the Derby game.

Pig sick of it. The amount of work time people will have had to rearrange is ridiculous.

I make Bristol City the 6th. Four before Xmas and just two afterwards. Been a joke this year really.

I think the fact we’ve had so few Saturday 3pm games has had a impact on attendances this season (meaning the people that actually turn up, not the attendance the club announces which is tickets sold).

I get that when you buy a season ticket there is small print around matches being rescheduled but this season has been an absolute joke. I don't know to what degree the club's hands are tied by Sky's contract with the Football League, but these relentless night matches will ultimately lead to people giving up on season tickets, and inevitably much smaller crowds and lower matchday revenue.

Not just that what about folk like Leisure having to reschedule coaches for the away matches moved, and fans having to change plans or cancelling etc ... bloody nightmare.
I have Friday a commitment already for that night so will be missing it

I can only attend weekend games and I get emails from the Chairman asking me why I didn't go... I can't believe I renewed to be honest, I think it is the hope that if we get promoted we'll have more Saturday games because we wont be on TV much. If we dont go up, I will seriously consider cancelling the DD and not bothering

Probably three of our toughest fixtures remaining and we've now to play them Saturday, Tuesday, Friday, that's brutal anything to get Leeds promoted again I suppose

Yep, I also have plans so it's another game that I'll be missing. And zero chance of reselling our tickets. Maybe the TV money that the club gets from these changes could be put towards reimbursing people who have paid for tickets and can no longer attend or who have lost money on travel, accommodation, etc. Obviously that wouldn't happen, but some kind of gesture or acknowledgement from the club wouldn't go amiss.

Because it would have meant we’d be playing Derby on the Wednesday and Norwich on the Friday

The late fixture change will cost the Dublin Clarets a lot of money. They book their flights in advance, in order to get cheaper deals. Now they will lose that money. The closer they are to booking for a match day, the more the flights cost. Plus they then have overnight accommodation costs to add.

Yeah i got muddled up, was thinking Norwich was the previous Friday rather than the same week. Anyway the change has probably ballsed up my lift to Derby.

Man City being home early that Saturday April 12 pushed prices that weekend from Belfast/Dublin up already. Just checked Friday April 11 out of Belfast and it's too much to consider. I understand the frustration of losing out on flights. The gamble we have to take sometimes.

Theres a chap who regularly flys over from Colorado USA (he actually has a season ticket) he has posted on Twittler he is due to land in Manchester at 3.10pm on the Friday ... so luckily he will make the game.

£20 fee to change hotel date in Derby, and son will probably miss Norwich.

Just imagine a job where you are paid a small fortune, and yet can't put in 2 90 minute shifts in a 3 day period

It seems to be affecting actual attendees across the EFL.A lot of attendances given are no where near.

Grateful to a poster on here who gave somebody the nod this would be changed..... the flights were in the basket ready to be booked, and now need to be changed.

No, I realise that. I'm sure they will ge getting additional revenue for it though while supporters take the hit. It was a slightly tongue in cheek suggestion though borne out of frustration rather than a serious proposal.

I can probably make the rearranged Norwich game. But I won't be bringing my kids to it. So many games this season they haven't been able to make because they are night matches
I think there have only been 8 home daytime games so far this season. That's pitiful

Maybe it's something sky should factor it to the payments to clubs when they move the fixtures within a certain time frame, it'd take some messing about by the club though to go through individual receipts and circumstances to prove why they couldn't attend to then reimburse.
It is very frustrating though, surely at Christmas they could figure out the game until May that would be important.

I presume this latest round of announcements doesn't take us up to Easter Monday, as I expect the Sheff U game to be on telly.

Done on a weekly basis now four weeks in advance - but I think all the Easter games will be televised

Reckon Sheff U will either be 12.30 or 8pm, which would be an absolute pig at the end of a 4 day weekend.

The Easter Monday games wouldn’t be effected by the “3pm Blackout” as that only applies to Saturday games so in theory they could do the same as they do for other midweek evening games and still show all games at 3pm on Sky Sports +

We were all saying last season, one of the benefits of relegation is the regular certainty of the Saturday 3 o'clock ko.
It just hasn't happened.

Bet they still move a few though. Boxing day was the same but Leeds kicked off at 8, got a feeling 1 or 2 others got moved as well.

Selfishly, I’m happy for the Derby switch as it allows me to travel as I was unable to get to the Wednesday game. Such a shame about another Saturday being missed though. I really enjoyed the Luton game and getting back to a more or less full Turf.

How long is this current TV deal due to last?
It’s been awful for fans this season and there will be a knock on effect to local businesses. TV money really is destroying football.
The thing I can’t understand is how it’s worthwhile for Sky, at EFL level especially. Pubs are closing by the week and so many people have turned to illegal streams. Who’s tuning in to watch Bromley v Walsall on a Thursday night apart from supporters of both clubs?

It would be interesting to see what would happen if all the clubs and the league just politely said to the TV companies NO, we play matches Saturday afternoons, go and televise the wrestling, rounders or some other sport.
