Sheff wed can win tomorrow hopefully

Home game, local derby, and they have had a few decent wins in recent weeks.
I was surprised looking at their recent matches that they are where they are, we need a team to disrupt the sheff utd run in. Play offs are not what we need.
I hate the term fine margins, but its all about that at this stage of the season. Its also good that leeds are having to ride their luck and are slowing down at a key time. we might get the top slots yet.

I find that in derbies the better team wins. Both sides are up for the battle and quality comes through. Apart from us beating them Wednesday are much improved and Blades have won their last 3 away but against bottom half sides.
I’ll take a draw.

Will be close. Depends if Wednesday can take their chances. Sheffield U always take their chance.

Other than being of importance to us, it’s going to be worth watching. Feels like a huge game this time, here in the People’s Republic of South Yorkshire.

Wednesday in decent form. Can see it being a draw.

Wednesday away followed by Coventry at home for The Blades. You have to think any points they get from those will be earned and deserved.

I find that in derbies the better team wins
Everton 2-2 Liverpool*
Man City* 1-2 Man Utd
Arsenal* 2-1 Tottenham
Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal*
Chelsea* 1-2 Fulham
Burnley* 1-1 Blackburn
Blackburn 0-1 Burnley*
Sheff Utd* 1-0 Sheff Wed
Swansea* 1-1 Cardiff
Cardiff 3-0 Swansea*
These are the (proper) derbies from the top 2 tiers this season
(* indicates who is higher in the league)
Best team only won 4 of 10
Lost 3 of 10
3 draws
Could go either way today
As people have said. Fine margins. Only 1 game there with more than a single goal in it

Certainly not the case with us and Preston this year! Much less quality but we've hardly laid a glove on them in 3 games. But we did get draws, hopefully Wednesday go one better!

I think Sheff Utd will be too strong for them with their choices of fire power, hope I’m wrong of course.

Well I got the Burnley win and Leeds draw correct in my predictions and have Sheff Wed down as a win so let's hope my luck continues. I think Utd will be under massive pressure today to get a result and I think it might just show in their play.

Wilder is a bottle job. On the bottle belittling the Owls after the last win. They are fired up to put him back in his cage.

Wednesday create plenty of chances but don't defend well.
Sheff Utd seem to ride their luck and score when they can.
Will this continue?

Their luck has to run out at some point. Look at Leeds W 1 D2 L1 in their last 4 games, anything can happen when pressure is involved.

Sheffield United have Coventry next, then apart from us they have a run of very winnable games,so I desperately hope Wednesday win and the rest of Uniteds fixtures don't run to form

I would qualify that and say the better team on the day.
Quite often league position and form count for little - that's what derby games are about.
Come on you Owls.
