I was at Scout camp at Waddecar and gutted that I missed it!!

If a Burnley player had assaulted a DL player the way Hunter assaulted Frank it would never have been forgotten about by the media.

It was the first time I ever heard my dad swear.

I was there. On the Lowfields with one other Burnley fan, now sadly deceased.

It was 51 years ago.

Just saw the headline ,still worth remembering though any win against DL.

A fantastic result at what we thought was a good time to get one. Hadn't won a league game, I don't think since beating Liverpool on Boxing Day. The week before at home to Everton we were trailing 0-1 and Everton had missed a penalty. With about 15 mins. left we scored 3 in about 4 mins to win the game. Then it was Leeds turn and the following week ........ I'll leave it there.

They'd already had 2 r 3 goes at him, before Hunter nailed him.
I've loathed that club from that day to this.

Loathed since Alex Elder scored an own goal from the corner flag.
