Anyone else watching this?...doesn't really work for me... some of the play looks little more than club level...I've not seen it before...anyone know how participants were selected?.. or maybe if the time constraints are too tight and thus affecting game quality?

I read that they purposefully selected players at around 1500-1700 ELO. But apparently someone snook in that is well above that.

I'm surprised they're even rated that highly tbh.... and bemused as to the thinking behind it...seems fatuous to think the plebs are going to watch it in any kind of numbers even if they had strippers in the intervals.
