******* terrible. Rough housing not punished. Missed so much. No yellow cards and the foul count was shocking. Not up with play. Had his safe place in the centre circle. Consistently woeful.

Horrific display of poor positioning, bad calls and no firm discipline. Really really poor ref.

Appeared to be in the right place to see things, but missed everything! Gave them some very dodgy FKs.
Match had 3 added which took 5 and they got a shot off.

Another awful performance. Gave free kicks that were beyond soft, let blatant free kicks go, missed so much off the ball it’s untrue. The guy is a clown

Have you been drinking? Kitchen is clueless at times as to whats actually going on, today he was bloody awful, yet again. How anybody can score him above 10 is beyond me. And just to add they’re looking at him with a view to the Premier League. It’s almost laughable and it’s not April 1st yet.

In defence of the added time, the 3 minutes were announced, then we made a substitution

By the time we restarted, the clock showed 91:15, and he also made a show of stopping the watch when Bristol were taking their time over a throw in

How on earth this bloke is a championship ref, never mind being fast tracked for a Premier League position, is beyond my comprehension. He’s better than Gavin Ward but unfortunately for him only just and Ward is probably the worst ref I’ve ever seen and I have watched Darren Deadman…

Not good. What I can't get to grips with is when the defender gas his arms wrapped around a forward; as happened today to Foster for example, no foul is given?

I watched Ramsbottom Unuted recently and the referee in that game was an improvement on what I've seen in our games this season

Third match I’ve seen him this season and he is so consistently poor! Let’s ridiculous fouls go and then blows for innocuous challenges. Fleming was wrestled to ground twice in opening minute and he let it go.

The free kick he gave against Cullen for comfortably winning the ball against Twine with a superb tackle was up there with unfathomable decisions this season

As expected. Really poor. Absolutely mind boggling some of the decisions he gives at times.

A- 7
B- 5
C- 12. Very well positioned as their holding midfielder. Forget blocking passing lanes
D- 15. Nothing of note kicked off for once

Couldn’t believe the Brizzle fans sang “ 1-0, to the referee “ when we scored. I was sat directly in line with the foul, in Bob Lord front row. It WAS a free kick, all day long. One of the few decisions Kitchen did get right this afternoon.

It wasn't even a hard game to referee, but he still kept missing the obvious fouls and then giving fouls for excellent tackles. Clown!

We made a sub at the end which took 1min 15 sec meaning 5 mins was about right

This guy was appalling today. Gave Scott Twine a free kick a good ten seconds after he had rolled around in agony. Just because someone rolls in agony doesn’t make it a foul. He hadn’t given the decision at first and Twine wasn’t touched which was correct but clearly changed his mind. He gave them at least 3 free kicks like that throughout the game. From very early on you could see that he is the sort of ref that decides a match outcome through general incompetence all the way through the match. He nearly let them score at the end when the whistle should have gone 30 seconds earlier too.

From TV in Tenerife, Kitchen was incompetent. Most free-kicks were incorrect. If a player won the ball but the opponent fell over he awarded a foul. If a player was blatantly fouled he played on. He really should be awarded the award of 'White Stick of the Year'.

Watched on TV

Generally poor as expected. He's another one who has no idea of the game. The fouls he gave against Cullen on Twine and then Laurent against Edwards when Cullen clearly won the ball and Laurent was simply stretching and their player just fell over him and in both cases Kitchen had perfectly good view was just mind bogglingly bad.

Appalling as ever. The foul he gave against Cullen when Twine stood on him and screamed was a disgrace. Play continued for ages before he whistled. He’s another sad indictment on the state of refereeing given he’s reached this level.

Just hope we don’t get him against Sheffield United.

Need at top ref for that match , if there is such a thing.

He looked pretty determined to ensure Bristol got another chance at goal before he blew...basically he added 2 minutes for the 20 seconds we wasted in stoppage time.

To be fair, the fourth official signalled 3 mins added on time whilst the ball was dead (which was a good result for us), and due to our substitution the game didn’t restart until 91.15 - so I think the referee played the correct duration.

Yes, he was awful but this was about right.
Had they scored at the end it would have been due to our own errors.
Well into stoppage time Foster got the ball and had about 40 yards to run into the corner where we could have run down the remaining seconds, but brainlessly he decided to run into the centre where he was dispossessed by one of their central defenders, then Hannibal had the chance to clear but tamely gave the ball away on the corner of our box.
Make those basic errors in the Premier League and you most likely drop 2 points.

Best he's been when reffing us - but it's an extremely low bar. No complaints about the added time at the end but the free kick decision when Twine squealed like a stuck pig was a disgrace.

This was right in front of me. We were all laughing at Twine for making a massive meal about it, then the ref gives it out of sympathy I think?

Felt like he was manufacturing decisions to try and get them back into the game.

Lost count of the times he was getting in the way of our passing lanes across the pitch

Rubbish

In fairness to him we also made a stoppage time substitution.
