Thought this could be highlighting.
Credit where credit is due and all that.
If you are involved in this little feel good story then you should be proud of yourself.
I was a little late today and walking past ticket office I remembered that I need to pick up my ticket for Coventry next wk. I considered leaving it and coming down during the wk but I'm glad I didn't.
I joined the back of the queue in the light rain and waiting. After a short while I became aware of the lad infront of me.
If you have experience with persons who have ASD then you would quite easily realise this lad was a little distressed around the situation he was in.
As we entered the ticket office out of the rain and a little noisy and a more stimulating environment the distress increased a little.
To attempt to relieve this i struck up conversation with the lad which helped alot.
I won't go into detail as to what time issues was as a matter of privacy. What i would like to say that when the lad explained his situation to the young girl behind the glass, she was excellent and resolved the issues for the lad with going above and beyond.
Was ready to sort the situation if needed but I was really impressed with the was she cleared this up discreetly and efficiently.
The lad left happy and thankful to everyone and really changed his day around.
Life is harder for some people than others and sometimes it's easy to see that and sometimes it's not that obvious
Well done "lass behind the glass"
If you are the lad involved reading this it's in no way meant to highlight you but infact add another person that needs a nod in respect. Well done for cracking on a getting in the queue to sort your issue.
The whole thing made my day for the better too.
The ticket office gets it's fair share knocks but on this occasion it's a big well done.
If you were in the ticket office at 3pm maybe you clocked this.

Brilliant to read. Well done to you and the lady involved. Sounds like you were both a fantastic help.
You’re right to highlight these positive things, sounds like she’d had some great training.
