I didn't want to sound negative on the first day while the sun was shining.
It will look better when Jimmy plays.

I'm not sure our Yorkie friends will want to talk about cricket on their first day back in the top league.

Saw the last 10 overs before tea. Looked a bit " rabbit-in-headlights" against a fairly ordinary mixed attack.

This is why the long form of cricket (4 or 5 days) is way superior to a 20:20 or hundred ball bash
Lots of twists and turns, all 4 results a possibility with an hour to go, and still two possible results in the last over
(Only IMO - of course)

Yorkshire are the first team to take 3 points from that county for a while…… shame it was in a cricket match though eh? Absolutely battered.

Oh and funny how. Aristide now wants to captain Yorks….. of course nothing to do with going unsold in the IPL….. bet that brought on a massive sulk from the king of mard…
