I'm assuming there will be 1 or 2 changes tonight.
I can see Hannibal and Flemm coming in, possibly even Sarmiento.
Traff
Roberts...CJ...Steeeve...Pires
Cullen...Hannibal
Edwards...Brownhill...Anthony
Flemming

The only change will be the possible rotation of Foster/Fleming. It may even be that Foster starts as Derby have some big central defenders

I hope there are as few changes as possible. Flemming/Foster being the only question mark (I prefer Foster for his movement/pace but accept Flemming has scored more goals so wouldn’t like to pick).
Ideally, I’d set up and ask them to be agressive first half, try and get a lead and then make some early changes from a strong position.
If players need resting I’d prefer it were at home to Norwich.

In a game we should be expecting a comfortable win, and with the 3 games in such quick succession, I'd be happy if Bauress was on the bench. Given how tight the promotion race is proving, it probably won't happen, but I'm hoping this lad doesn't get forgotten about.

Didn't he play last night for the U21s?

Eustace has played us twice this season and will know how we play. Might also have an issue with SP so will be have his team fired up. Never an easy game at Derby on a crap pitch

Derby's pitch looked terrible in their last home game, which throws a bit of a spanner in to the works.
Same team for me, though I think Flemming will come in for Foster.

I'd like to think it'd be a comfortable win but I doubt it.

When was that? Weathers been good so you'd think it'd be recovering quickly now. Unless Eustace has decided he wants a ropey pitch because his teams hardly ever use it

Last Wednesday night, they played PNE at home, it was like a sandpit in parts. It’ll be very dry and not the type of pitch we typically enjoy to play on (eg PNE away x2).

Mate of mine is a Derby fan and he text me this morning and said, and I quote: "Good luck with our pitch, it looks like I wiped my arse with it"

This will be a tough, physical game on what looks like a horrible pitch.
Derby will likely start with a much lower defensive line than Coventry did, so I'd bring Flemming in for Foster. I'd also be tempted to bring Hannibal in for Edwards, with Anthony moving to the right and Hannibal on the left of midfield.

Cheers. Knowing we were next up I'm sure Eustace was happy with it. Wouldn't surprise me if he'd had them training on it.

Flemming has to play. He’s a much better target than Foster and can actually produce goals.
Hannibal should also be playing for his energy and run them down in the first half.

Couple of changes, Flemming for foster, Hannibal for Edwards, due to the pitch.

Flemming in for Foster. Flemming has a good record in away games.
Otherwise I trust Parker and his staff to put out whichever team is best suited to the match.

Barnes on from the start, draw a few yellow cards which will calm them
down a bit for the rest of the game and then bring on Foster and/or Flemming
to do the damage.
Simples !!!!

Less than a week.
But it doesn't really matter, still a lot of football at the end of a long season.

Is it a long season? In terms of days, it's no longer than usual, and in terms of matches, 44 (4 of which were reserve team cup matches) isn't a huge number.

With our crazy period during the transfer window and then our decent run in the Cup, I would say it was quite a long season, but I was mainly meaning the Championship in general is a long season.
We also haven't had a massive amount of squad rotation since Christmas, which has really helped, but I do worry about fatigue kicking in.
I'm just stressing.

Any chance of an appearance from Tresor on the bench tonight?
Not involved last night...

It won’t be pretty tonight. They are fighting for their lives and will be very well organised. Potential banana skin and we will need to remain focused and disciplined. Leeds and Sheff U have slipped up in similar games recently. No doubt the pitch will be awful but not a patch on the Baseball ground: now that really was a mud heap.

The first team.squad is supported by sports science staff, any signs of fatigue would already be flagged up.
I imagine training now will be a lighter version than earlier in the season.
No reason to stress over this game, we are at least assured of a play off spot and let's have some faith in the Clarets. More pressure on Derby than us tonight UTC

No easy games at this stage of the season but we look right on it at the moment in all aspects of our game.

Tonight’s massive. Leeds & Sheff have tough games tonight and then a relatively easy run after this so gaining any further points advantage tonight will be crucial.

To be fair, on paper they both had relatively easy games last time out too. Don't think there's such thing at this stage

You may have a point but he's beginning to look like a walking red card again recently...being down to 10 men halfway through the first half is something we don't need.

Stay as close as possible to the team that was successful at Coventry tonight, with Flemming for Foster the only change you'd expect to be made.
Laurent's physicality would be essential tonight and Brownhill's goal threat from midfield means he's also one of the first names on the team sheet.
if we need to make changes to manage the schedule - and in the round, it's not been that punishing - then we can worry about that on Friday night. Derby have been in better form recently, and given the state of Derby's pitch and the way Eustace sets his team up, if we're going to make changes that compromise our physicality at all, you'd want to make them on at home to Norwich rather than tonight.

Spot on,he can't keep his mouth shut a walking time bomb .Expect a red card everything he plays.

If he pays there will be no doubt Eustace will have told his payers, who can mix it, to go in hard and see if they can get a reaction.

What is interesting is I'm drinking in Derby after leaping off a flight this afternoon and every Derby fan I speak to is saying our players to fear are Brownhill and Anthony. Nobody mentions Edwards. Won't be under the radar of the manager but is with the fans.
Team - yes just Flemming.

They are our top goalscorer and goal assist player, plus Anthony got the two on Saturday.
