Very tough second half against a side who had 45 minutes to save their season. Poor goal for us to concede but we saw a brilliant performance from Hannibal and Cullen. We saw two sides of this team and both were good examples of what we will need to do in every game. On to the next one.

Strange tactics from us in the second half. Yes Norwich were definitely much better but we stopped playing to our strengths and gave the ball away far too often.
Still, it’s the three points that matter and the pressure on Sheffield Utd is ratcheted up another notch.

Excellent first half and Norwich couldn't live with us, but we faded badly after half time and Norwich got a foothold in the game which eventually led to a lifeline goal and we're suddenly very nervy. Some games under Kompany in the Championship season were so easy it was almost boring. That's never going to happen with this team!!

Strange game as mentioned. They were as bad as anything I've witnessed so far this season and was wondering if we could go on and chase down the goal difference with Leeds a bit. Second half they were a bit better but still well contained till that goal, then we struggled to get over the line.
We do look to have reverted to type over the past 3 weeks in that we've not created much but we're still grinding out results so who cares.

That catch at the end by Trafford was nearly as good as a goal !! Fantastic to get the 3 points tonight.

Huge win and tough second half but all part of the nerves at this point in the season. This run of unbeaten games is insane.

Not sure I could cope watching that 2nd half style for the full 90 in the prem.

Two very tough away games thus week, the second played in a sandpit which will have sapped the legs. Not a surprise we dropped our levels in the second half and then got caught a bit between pressing on and sitting deep and looking to counter.
We managed it pretty well though. Their goal probably shouldn't have stood (foul on Roberts at the back post) and apart from that they didn't really create a chance second half.

We were tremendous first half, and had Hannibal’s effort on halftime been an inch the other side of the post, we’d have pasted Norwich.
As it happens we had to dig in deep in the second half but we did it really well.

Hannibal was absolutely brilliant first half . Just watched his interview with Anthony on Sky …..there’s a character for sure. Traffords claim at the end was fantastic. UTC COME ON!!!!

"Tough second half", really ?, they scored from a set peice where they got lucky from a miss hit shot,. we were 2-0 up and Trafford could have been a spectator, chill people SP knows exactly what is needed, there will be a lot tougher second halves next year when we're in the premier league

A masterclass from SP perfect game management but it was a shame to give Norwich a goal.At least it gave the hardy souls who travelled from Norwich something to cheer about from their very poor team.

Someone said to me as they were leaving 'hanging on again'. I didn't quite understand. It was a difficult watch after they pulled one back but Trafford once again was not called into action. We defended well, protected our goalkeeper and were worthy of the win. Nerves are kicking in, on and off the pitch but surely at this time of the season it's all about the result. There will be plenty of teams over the weekend at both ends of their respective leagues who would love a replica of what we achieved tonight. We have a hard working team, not blessed with individual brilliance but our sheer doggedness and tenacity have to be appreciated. Cutting us just a bit of slack wouldn't be asking too much.

We don't help ourselves, or should that be myself, being happy to soak up pressure.
Norwich were always going to chuck the kitchen sink, they had nothing to lose. It's an opportunity we should exploit, but instead we seem happy to consolidate, when 1 more goal and the game is put to bed.
Our outballs from the back, second half, were aimless and wasteful.
That said it was a good, and deserved 3 pts, and you can't knock the results or the players attitude. They all look as cool as hell, I've got no fingernails left.

Poor use of subs, should have been on 15 minutes earlier, I hope that it doesn't affect the Watford game like it did Derby.

No they weren't. We won the game. And bringing on subs earlier wouldn't have had any bearing on our next game in a full week's time.

It’s a week away? Is that genuinely the first thing that’s come in your head this morning after a great (but tense) win?

I think last night showed how bare our subs bench really is. The intensity of the first half was great and we were well on top. Their manager made wholesale changes and that along with Burnley visibly tiring, gave them a way back into the game in the second half which they took. SP just didn't have suitable replacements on the bench to really change the game. Thankfully we managed to hold on and have a week now to recover before going again.

I’d have brought on Laurent earlier but it was a great day at the office yesterday. 29 undefeated. 13 goals conceded all season. Not one side has scored more than 1 goal past us all season. It really is quite incredible. Fair play SP. UTC.

Three games in six days and seven points!
All of them high stake games for us where we showed true grit and character. The way we started off last night in the first half - we looked like a team of thoroughbreds who hadn't been out of the stables for a couple of weeks.
We should all be immensely proud of them.
