With our far superior goal difference, we now need a maximum eight points from our last four games. Blades could then get only a maximum of 96 points
If we beat Blades we need only seven points because they could then only get maximum 95 points. So that would mean needing only four points from the other three games.
Blades win all their games they have 98 and we have maximum of 97 points.

I said on another thread,if we win our 2 away games,we can draw our home games to get promoted because of our superior goal difference. That is of course assuming that Sheffield United win the other 4 of their remaining games

Not to sure on your maths I see Sheffield could get 98 pts if they win all there games we need 10 pts
from 12pts but if we beat or draw then they could only have 95 or 96

We can win promotion by beating Sheffield United provided that a) we also beat watford, and b) Sheffield United get fewer than 3 points in their two games before playing us. We will be 99.9% promoted if Sheffield United get exactly 3 points in their next two games because turning around a 20+ goal difference is unlikely given the number of games remaining.

Sheff Utd play them down t'road in the last game of the season. Just imagine they need to win by a huge score say 6/7 nil!!! Just sayin.

Don’t forget Sheffield also have 2 extra points the Wilder keeps telling us about which would make all the difference

As we play them at home still - it cannot be true that they win all of their games and we draw our home games. Unless you are excluding that game ahead of today’s game.

No need to apologies , looking at when you posted you may have had a drink or two , I certainly had I was in my car 4 mins after final whistle home 15 mins later by11 pm was on my 2nd glass red wine with the excitement of a home win and the drink I would have been lucky to calculate what time it was never mind what points another team may or may not get. Barring some sort of mistakes by players ,refs, or just wrong bounce of the ball all other things are in our own hands. The joys of being a Claret !!!!! UTC !!!
