For so long the game on Easter Monday was our get out of jail card to promotion, now I'm rather wishing we didn't have to play them as they get a chance to close the gap by 3 points if it does go badly wrong. Either way, where we are now was a dreamland scenario a few weeks back even 7 days ago in fact... get in, and thank you Plymouth.

Assuming both us and Sheffyoo win next Friday we will still be 5 points ahead of them.
If we then beat them on Easter Monday we'll be eight points ahead with two games remaining.
Game over for Sheffield United.

Draw next Friday and beat Sheffield and it’s done and dusted. Six point gap with two to play and miles better goal difference.

If we beat Watford and avoid defeat against Sheffield United we are promoted, regardless of what Sheffield United do against Cardiff, unless they can turn around at least 25 goals in the last two games, which they can't.

The top and bottom of it is they are going to have to get six points more than us from their last four games, one of which is against us.

Some of you lot are absolutely terrible at maths. 
We are 5 points clear not 6. If we win at Watford and draw with Sheff Utd and they match our Watford result then we will still be 5 ahead with 6 points available. Lose our last two matches and Sheff Utd win both then they go up.
Lots and lots to play for, saving grace for Sheff Utd is that they still have us to play.

If we only get 3 points from the remaining 4 games, by my calculations Sheff Utd still have to get 3 wins out of 4 to finish above us. It would take a hell of a twist for that all to happen.

That Sheff Utd score would have just given our lads a massive unexpected boost, there will be a determination there to get it done in the next two games by winning both - title to try and win after that.

then it's still in our hands.
Either way it's going to be a difficult game against Sheffield

against Millwall.

Just to clarify our points magic number of 7 to be promoted automatically is any combination of points gained by us or dropped by SU.
If we beat Sheff U our magic number will drop to 1 so a draw at Watford and beat Sheff U means we will be promoted

Sheff Utd could win 3 plus a draw with us equals 93 points
We would be 3rd if we lose the other 2 games

Blades will have to attack us. That rarely ends well for the opposition who do that.
Think Watford were the last team who did that (at the Turf) and whilst it looked a very 2-1 victory it was perhaps our best performance of the season and 5-0 wouldn't have been unfair.
