38yo now but on the bench for ManU this afternoon after Onana is dropped.
Would be good to see Tom and Nick Pope on the pitch together.
How blessed we were to have them two between the sticks.

Blessed with goalkeepers recently.
Add Trafford to the mix and it's truly a golden period were still going through.

Sad to think Tom hasn’t played any league football since he was stretchered off on the Turf playing for Villa on NYD 2020.
Top goalkeeper.

Brilliant keeper with elite mentality. If Utd had just used him as their number 1 for the last 5 years they'd have been better off.
His decision to move from being Villa number 2 to Utd number 3 was bizarre.
Hope we can get him on board as a coach at some point.

Realistically TH wouldn't have got a lot of game time with either, so if Man Utd were offering him a substantially higher salary for sitting on their bench then it would make perfect sense to forego the three or four times a season that Villa would've played him.

He signed for Villa as their number 1 so I'd be surprised if he had a wage rise going to Utd as number 3

I remember that so clearly, sitting behind that goal. It was awful. Truly felt for the guy.
