If you catch the bus to Los Cristianos, there’s an Irish bar called Funk Rooney’s which shows the Burnley games. It’s on the Funchal, which is about 400m up from the bus station.

Slightly off topic but the issue was raised on The Bee Hole End podcast recently about removing the Saturday 3pm TV blackout and whether it would allow more games to actually be played at this time?

Seems odd that all Good Friday games can be shown at 3pm but not on a Saturday.

I think it’s because it’s a Saturday 3pm rule, and this is a Friday 3pm. It’s all down to it being on Friday and not Saturday.

Just asked in a Belgium bar in Costa del Silencio if they would put match on Friday. She said no problem so had 2 large beers and a GnT. €7
