Real v Arsenal
The Gunners should have enough with a 3-0 lead from the first leg, but if RM get an early goal, who knows?

Arsenal miss a penalty.
Terrible miss.Would probably have settled it, might now spur RM on.

Re: Real v Arsenal
Arse miss a pen as Saka ridiculously goes for a soft dink into the corner .
Weird commentary beforehand which ignored the fact the ref was going across to the monitor as if it wasn’t happening until the last moment.

Be careful criticising him for missing a pen. Could be accused of all sorts…

Just calming down from that Pen, what a cockwomble.
A chance to put the tie to bed and he decides to be a smart arse.

Ha.. I thought that. They seem intent on filling every second of air time but didn’t have a word to say about the ref stopping the match, leaving the pitch and looking at the monitor.Stalbansclaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 8:17 pm

Re: Real v Arsenal
Mbappe who shouldn't be on the pitch now 'wins' a penalty.
Not a penalty.
Typical of decisions that go in favour of Barca and Real Madrid.

Is it me or are Real everything that's wrong with modern biased football. Dirty, divers and cheats.

Peno Real, foul by Rice. VAR check. Inordinate amount of time for the check.
No penalty.

Re: Real v Arsenal
Haha correct decision.
Have to give credit to the officials there for (eventually) getting it right. Took too long but at least got the right decision.

Madrid leaving afters in every tackle, especially on Saka. A nasty team.

Probably the only time I've ever wanted Arsenal to win, I absolutely detest everything about Real Madrid

Ferdinand is so annoying on comms. Just shut up for a bit!
Arsenal been good here. Parker’s Burnley are a lite version of them.

Think you've got the CBS coverage. It's Ray Hudson. Certainly an acquired taste.Taffy on the wing wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 8:46 pmWho is this horrible Geordie commentator?....Like a bad imitation of Vera.

I've been dissapointed with this one so far, thought Madrid might give it a better go.

Milan just put 2 in to lead v Munich.
Re: Real v Arsenal
On a side note, Inter now 4-2 up on aggregate
So not looking like Bayern will be in the final at the Allianz.
Ah well.

Arsenal are really well organised, and Rice is top class. But having said that, Madrid have been toss here.

Bayern score, one goal in it now
Re: Real v Arsenal
That gobshite Bellingham's been played off the park by Rice tonight. Lovely finish from Saka too. Real haven't done much. They don't appear to have as many big characters and match winners as in previous incarnations.

Best player on the pitch. I read on here last week that’s he’s not actually that good.

What a result for Arsenal. To go to Madrid and win cannot be underestimated. I'm not an Arsenal fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this was a masterclass.

Some people talk through their backside. I saw Rice at the Turf in our last season under Dyche. It was 0-0 . Rice was the best player I saw in the flesh that season, and I actually watch a lot of PL football live. He was like a Rolls Royce on that pitchNottsClaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 9:54 pmBest player on the pitch. I read on here last week that’s he’s not actually that good.

Re: Real v Arsenal
Spain and Argentina turn out so many wonderful, talented forward thinking players and defenders straight out of Mafia training school. Probably because they aren't good enough to stop the attacking guys.
