Sounds like a wrestling bout I used to watch at Colne Muni back in the day!

Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Spoke to a Watford fan earlier this week. He says these 2 are their best players by some distance and the season has completely fizzled out. So good news for us. But we still need to treat it like any other game
Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Can’t they still get into the plays offs though?

Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
7 pts off playoffs with 4 to play
And a GD of -5
It's possible they could get playoffs
But that'd be a heck of a swing of results
I'd be amazed. And so would they from what he said
They are already on about next season and keeping Cleverley

But does that mean two bench warmers step up with a point to prove to the manager. You never know how these things work out.

Baah really impressed me at the Turf and is the only the player I can remember run past Esteve like he wasn't there.
Hasn't done much since due to being a hot head/injury.

Baah would be the player I’d want out of the two as well. He’s an athlete
Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Watford fans think that they both have "injuries" and will be sold in the summer.

Can’t read that name without doing it in this voice.

Zavier Massiah-Edwards is also out due to concussion protocol.
Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
I have been impressed with the Georgian player whenever I have seen him.
A really good ball carrying attacking player.

We just need to go all out attack and get the first of our Easter victories

Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Louza is one of their better players, a sort of Cullen metronome type in the centre, but we should have enough to get the result.
Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Very nice player. Wouldn’t mind us looking at him in the summer as a Cullen rotation option.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 2:10 pmLouza is one of their better players, a sort of Cullen metronome type in the centre, but we should have enough to get the result.

Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
We need to win. A draw or a loss will gives Blades something to cling on to. We don’t want them coming to us feeling like there is even a small chance of automatic promotion. Surely they can’t lose at home to Cardiff or can they ? but we have to assume they will win. Of course whatever this round of results bring it will be in our own hands on Monday. Oh and let’s not forget Leeds. Oxford away is not a gimme

Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
I thought Chakvetadze was up there with the best I've seen in the Championship this season.
Re: Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah
Exactly this - if we win and the gap is & points then it will deflate Sheff before they even kick a ball.FCBurnley wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 2:35 pmWe need to win.
