How confident out of 100% are you of promotion?
Myself I'm at 75% ,hopefully 100% Monday night!

Pretty confident even if we lose on Monday it's still in our own hands with many on here thinking it wasn't possible only a couple of months ago and go back to August people were even saying we were going down UTC

Monday is by far our best shot. If it doesn't happen Monday it could all get very messy! It needs putting to bed before that happens. Not confident.

Only takes one thing to derail us - a bad referee call, a worldie, a slip, a missed sitter, that dodgy home defeat like QPR 2 yrs ago...

Anything can happen

If we don't lose on Monday then I'll be more confident. But until then, no chance I'm even thinking ahead

I think we are a better team than Sheff Utd as we showed in the away game & in recent weeks. So for that reason, along with being 30 games unbeaten, plus Parker’s experience in these big games, and having the Turf’s full support, I struggle to see us losing. But, a football match is 90 minutes where many variables can occur (especially with Sheff U having several players capable of individual moments), so definitely not overly confident either!

Just hoping we can put a performance in for the full 90 minutes.
As for confidence, I'm neither full of it nor, fearing the worst.
But on our game, we're better than them.

Completely agree. One dodgy pen or red card on Monday leading to a Sheffield win and we’re right back in it with pressure on.

Our biggest threat now is complacency. Sheffield will go in to the game absolutely up for it and if we’re complacent or off our levels we’ll get turned over.

It’s a cup final for them. A draw is no good so they’ll throw the kitchen sink at us. I think that may favour us actually, but you never know on the day.

On the plus side, Parker will guard against this I’m sure and our form both at home and generally since the international break has been fantastic so we have a lot to be hopeful about… but all these threads about signings when we go up are a tad premature. One game at a time and try get the job done first before even thinking about it.

I'd be surprised if we didn't do it now.

Only a few weeks back, I'd have definitely settled going into this game being 3 points behind Sheff Utd at least knowing a win would have it in our own hands going into the final two games. So going into this not just ahead of them, but five points clear is more than we could have hoped for, we've earned it though with the relentlessness of this run - 30 unbeaten is incredible.

It won't seal it obviously, but a draw and we're more or less there. I just don't see us losing this game and suspect we probably get it done on Monday

The Bookies price us between 20/1 on and 80/1 on

That suggests we are already UP

Now have another cuppa and stop fretting !

The real question is, DO WE WANT TO BE PROMOTED? Life in The Championship is far easier ;)

Have faith in Scotty and the team. An unbelievable season with some stats no one can rival. Lets keep calm-just like the manager. The words "win this guys and we are in the PL" as they leave the dressing room is something you can't put a value on

I’m 83.5% confident

The only kicker is if we lose on Monday ….

We will have to win the other 2 remaining games and Sheffield United will only have to win 1 as their game against Rovers will be a guaranteed 3 points unless we are already promoted

Well I said I doubt Parker will allow it. But when one team really has to win they do tend to raise their game. We don’t have to so there’s definitely a human nature element that we might not be quite as on it as them.

I’ve not been that impressed with Sheffield recently. They seem to have got worse to me than when we played them at theirs, but in a one off game all that goes out the window.

With a 5 point cushion and a vastly superior goal difference advantage over the team in third place with only 3 games to go I think it would be normal to feel confident of promotion. Especially with the opportunity to play and beat that team at home in the next game.

If that 5 points was 6 points - it would be a world of difference as we would only have to win one more game if we lost to Sheff

We're 1/20 with the bookies to finish top two.

Even with my limited betting knowledge that means you have to put £20 on, to win £1 back. They seem pretty confident in us ..

Looks great does the current form table

But just before SU lost 3 games on the spin, they'd taken 13 pts from 18 - and their loss was against Leeds

We are currently averaging less than 13pts every 6 games

It can change very quickly

I'm not saying we should be pessimistic. Just realistic

If our team can’t raise their game for a home game in front of a full house where a win will guarantee promotion to the biggest league in the world then they probably shouldn’t be in football, whether we have to win or not.

The championship always likes a big last game finale
Sheff win , Leeds lose, Burnley and leeds +2 on Sheff
Next game Sheff win Both Burnley and Leeds draw so level on points separated on goal difference going into last game .
All 3 teams can either be champions, runner up or play offs
Hope it doesnt happen doubt my heart and finger nails wouldn't cope .

We're the equivalent of 2-0 up with 5 minutes to play. Of course we should see the game out but if we allow the deficit to be halved now, it's a very nervous last few minutes.

Haven't they had a red card in their last 2 games at the Turf? As you say, you never know what might happen. Not too fanciful to say that we could be down in 3rd place when we kick off vs QPR.

Given it was Arsenal 'Invincibles' that broke the record, I wonder if any other teams have gone 30 undefeated in a Season.
