Tomorrow is my first trip to The Turf in almost 2 years (only been to away games recently), and I'm not sure about the ticket I've got. On my account it shows I have bought a ticket and gives seat number etc, but there's no barcode. Surely I need something to scan at the turnstile.

Have you not received an email with the ticket? If not, I’d be getting there early to go to the ticket office.

I think you're supposed to download it to Apple or Google wallet now. Then your barcode should appear?
