I do hope we prevail and get the job done
tomorrow. It's going to test the nerves as it is never
mind what they'd be like if we lose and still need 4
points from our last two games.

United will come to the Turf with absolutely nothing
to lose and will use every trick in the book to unsettle
us and get on top.

So I hope we keep our cool but also play to win
rather than sit back and play for the draw.

Especially as it's in front of the cameras.

Their fans will view us as a bogey side and be desperate to turn us over.

We could hope for a glorious win and put an end to the worrying. At this moment in time I wouldn’t view a draw as a bad result as it would keep the Blades at arms length going into the final two games.

Knowing how Parker has set up the Clarets for most games this season I would imagine he will not be giving much away and aim to protect our own goal as opposed to a gung-ho attacking approach.

It promises to be a nervy evening. UTC

Wouldn't start Hannibal today, they would be trying like hell to get him sent off from minute one and I can never fully trust him not to. So Laurent to start, also because of his physicality.

Also, Brownhill is better further up and our best chance of scoring.

Days like today are what we watch football for. A promotion shoot-out so close to the end of the season. Not the winner-takes-all it looked like being a couple of weeks ago (unless we win, of course).

There's also the bigger picture of winning the league. Draw today and we're as good as up but probably won't win the league, although that scenario will be clearer after Leeds have played. Win and we're up and still chasing top spot. Lose and we're still in the box seat but with added pressure.

I wonder how much SP will prioritise winning the league.

No I can't FULLY trust him. The stakes are massive. It's just not worth risking him from the start.

I think we know though what he means. Hopefully Parker will go through a few things with him before kick off. If Hannibal can keep his sensible head on then he and the team will be fine.

If he can’t be trusted then he shouldn’t even be at the club. For what it’s worth I think he’ll go with Laurent today but I’d have Hannibal in my team any time.

Me too. Very good chance he'll start Laurent, and I can see the case for doing so, but I'd start Hannibal.

He flirts with silly yellows virtually every game. By that I mean approaching the officials/being sarcastic etc., not getting stuck in. The latter is good, the former is not what we need today, when 100% SU would be goading him.

He's still young and hopefully will mature quickly. He's a hell of a talent though.

Thought Hannibal was excellent today. He’s certainly maturing as a player under SP’s guidance.
We have a manager who knows and trusts his players.
