Shef Utd attendance

The gate is given as 1060 below the capacity. Given the clamour for tickets and non attending Season Ticket holders, being counted in that attendance, I find it strange it wasn’t a full house. Shef Utd seemed to have taken their full allocation up. Unless the seats in the gap dividing the sets of supporters in the Cricket Field stand are the reason for the shortfall.

I was potentially expecting a record crowd in the current Turf Moor form, no tickets to be had, and the space in between in the cricket field stand was largely taken in comparison to usual.

Capacity is no longer 22546
Changes to the CFS & corporate areas has reduced capacity by about 1000

The crowd was just about the current capacity. The home section of the CFS is always slightly undersold, I presume this is due to safety reasons.
The capacity of '22,546' has never been reached since the redevelopment in the mid 90's.
Our largest crowd will be the 22,310 vs Preston in 2000, a game I might add, that could easily have sold 30,000 tickets, due to the Ian Wright factor and PNE pushing for promotion.

Always seats around me in CFS which are empty, around 15 or so, CFS is season ticket holders only and so cannot buy single match day tickets.
