Used to work at Adidas and was largely credited with landing the enormous kit deal MUFC have with them. Should only be a positive and will hopefully increase our revenue.

Adidas as our next kit deal would be a welcomed change!

I haven't, but that was nearly 30 years ago!

Shouldn't laugh, but he got that bamboozled yesterday with Femi Seriki, that he even managed to bugger up Sam McCallum’s name, right after.

Hell of a coup to get someone with his CV.

Previously Chief Commercial Development Officer at arguably the biggest football club in the world commercially, and only available because of Ratcliffe's purge.

As an added bonus, it would be nice if he could also negotiate a deal with his other former employers adidas, although I doubt we could get the £900m 10 year deal he was part of securing.

What does that mean for Russell Ball. Is he still at the club. He was currently the top SLO but this guy seems to have it in his role.?

Doubt it affects him, he's Director of Fan Experience.

I know James from the industry i work in. Nice guy who has done really well progressing by taking opportunities which may have seemed above him but he's been successful.

Welcome James.

That's positive - spoken to a couple of people I know from OT and nothing other than positive comments from there too.

Very reassuring.

Hope he gets that we’re not Man United, and £66 minimum ticket prices won’t wash here, but other than that slight reservation this looks on paper another really positive and exciting addition to the club.
