Looks like João Mendes is leaving. Only seen clips, but seems have done OK. We’re not short in that area at either first team or youth level so perhaps not so much of a loss.

Thought we might have been able to get a nominal fee for him off his name alone, like we’ve done with others at a lower level over recent years.

Not selected again today. Wonder if it’s a case of the lads being released not playing so we can get more experience in those staying, or whether it’s just the older lads being rested? There’s a lot of games for them in a short space of time and might be prioritising Wednesday.
