Some really cracking games to look forward to on the last day. All tough looking games, maybe Bristol City excepted, for those vying for a spot in the play offs.

Really cracking last day. Let’s hope Bristol at least draw against Leeds of course. That result would mean Rovers would need to overturn the 3 goal differential and as such a one goal win would not necessarily be good enough for them (assuming Cov win). Obviously a Bristol win is even better but they may be more likely to roll over for PNE if they win at Leeds.

Elland Road has been a graveyard for Bristol City and you have to go back to 1979 for their last victory. Bristol City whilst imperious at Ashton Gate are shocking away from home. They also have one of the smallest squads compared to other teams in the playoffs and have several key personnel missing or nursing knocks.
Don’t be surprised to see Liam Manning wait for the final day home game to secure the points they may need to secure their playoff place.

Personally can see Bristol focusing on next Saturday rather than v Leeds tomorrow. Funny the things remembered from past times but I recall a 2nd division Bristol City team going to Leeds in 1974 during the 3 day week and getting a very unexpected FA Cup win against them. Leeds then were a very good team, still very dirty of course but a top team.

It’s nonsense to think that Bristol will be going half arsed to Elland Road. They will be going strong knowing that Preston are capable of a one off game performance like they did at the Turf and in the cup at their place. You really can’t take liberties by picking and choosing games when you have 2 left.

13 teams with something to play for on the last day is pretty good going

Bristol City scraped a draw at Sheffield United and kept us to 1 = 0.

Come on you Robins.

Unfortunately I think Leeds will be too strong at home against Bristol City.
