I don't believe in dead rubber counts so I have a scoring extravaganza for you with this 180g box of Tooty Fruity Bombay Mix

Provide you scores for the following items, and in this order please

Any piece that I can pick up without having to use tweezers will be classed as countable

Scoring system is slightly different. As there will be a huge amount of "noodle" pieces then 10 points for an exact guess isn't rewarding enough. Therefore, for the noodles only, 50 points to be awarded for an exact guess. If the closest is within +- 50 pieces of the exact total then 10 points awarded, otherwise 5 for the nearest answer.

For all other items the usual 10 points for an exact match and 5 for closest will apply

It's been a VERY long term plan. I first picked up a box of Bombay Mix about 7 weeks ago, with the intention of setting it aside for this count.

But that got quickly scoffed along with the 4 replacement boxes

We've definitely done every game for this season and 2023-24 because we've been doing the volunteers list so every game has been covered. I think we did every game for 3 or 4 seasons before that but Bosscat and Steve1956 ended up doing most of the counts because there wasn't always a volunteer.

An excellent offering for the final count Croydon. Well done to everyone who took part this season, The Food Count played its own part in getting the mighty clarets over the line.

As Cmg said ... a few seasons ago Steve1956 and myself ran counts because we couldn't get volunteers.

A late rally from yours truly scoring 30 points to move me up to 6th place with 183 points.
5 points for jdrobbo and Eloise Laws puts them on 171 and 157 points but slipping a place to 8th and 9th respectively due to yours truly moving up 4 places.
5 points puts claretblue on 95 points into clear 13th place.
Also scoring 5 puts tally on 98 points moving up one place to 14th.
Bosscat scores 5 to move onto 85 points but remains in 16th place.

Thanks to everybody who took part in the final count which helped to inspire a fine attacking performance giving us 3 terrific goals and all 3 points from our intrepid heroes. So close to winning the title but a brilliant record breakibg season in the end.
