Swathes of empty seats at kick off

They are protesting until the 6th minute.

City have a six ticketing partners including Viagogo, which are making it difficult ( almost impossible in fact) for fans to get a ticket at a reasonable price.

26 minutes gone and still lots of empty blue seats.

Same reason. City have limited season tickets, even though they have a waiting list, the ticketing partners are charging extortionate prices and people can not afford them.

Good job by the real fans. Hope it works for them

Over in Paris to watch a PSG match in a couple of weeks.... I couldn't get a ticket on the official site so opted for viagogo.

Was a little worried but soon as I ordered them I got an email to check the PSG official ticket site i'd signed up for and my tickets were there in my "ticket wallet".

I paid ~£70 a ticket on viagogo..... It's currently ~£200 a ticket a few seats away on the same row in the same stand which is from fans reselling their tickets through the official platform.

Isn't always resell companies that are ripping off fans... It's fans too.

Chatting to a City fan tonight (proper one) the big clubs have no interest in local fans they want to fill the ground with tourists.

City fans moaning about greed.... whatever next. Did they not think there would be a cost associated for 'real fans' when buying every trophy going?

I have always found most mature City fans to remember where they have come from regarding the darker times.

A friend who has been a season ticket holder for decades is going to the FA Cup final with his 8 year old daughter. After ticket prices, transport and food etc he expects the day to cost him about £600.00. He is getting sick of it and I don't blame him. Last season he went to Newcastle Under Lyme with 1 of the Wythenshawe clubs. Entry to the game, transport, food and a few pints cost him about £30-40. He said a few hundred fans who were mainly City and Utd fans who have become disgruntled with the whole PL circus went to the game.

I love Burnley FC but near enough everything about modern football, especially the Premier League I cannot stand.

Agree with this entirely. Football is sadly slipping further and further down my priorities list.

If Burnley win (or buy) the treble, I'd expect the cost to go up significantly. Better quality means a higher premium for most things in life.

I feel more sorry for the likes of the Sheff Weds fan Vegas posted above, charged through the nose for bang average football. My cousin supports them and he is also considering not going any more.

It’d be good to have more solidarity among fans on things like this, the City fans are right. Obviously they’ve enjoyed the good times but pricing them out now isn’t right.

When a Sheikh or US hedge fund comes in and promises Champions League football, they don’t announce at the same time ‘but 50% of you will be priced out by then and won’t be part of it’.

We’ve pretty much priced out walk-ons at Burnley, they’ll mostly be tourists, away fans and corporates next season.

Doko is an exasperating player he's got pace to burn yet instead of skinning the fullback and delivering killer passes as for City's opener he stops and does the 30yrd City trademark back pass slowing the game down.This has been a hallmark of Man City but now it's getting very tiresome.

I’m not fancying Doku against Connor next season tbh. His standing start pace is unbelievable. Will have to hope his questionable decision making evens the match up.

That’s not the problem. The club just won’t make the season tickets available as they can sell them as individual match tickets at a much higher price overall.

It was awful to watch last night, like us at our worst this season.
I enjoyed Peps football when he first came but now I can't wait for him to leave. All the coaches copy him and it's led to the most boring time of English football I have witnessed.
Hopefully with Liverpool winning the league, fast, aggressive football will become the norm again.

I mean look what he has done to Grealish, an exciting 100m talent. Who is reduced to receiving the ball on the left, feints to go down the wing and passes 5/10 yards back inside. Repeated 50 times a game.

It’s not just the price but also the lack of availability.

Strange that this wasn't all happening when they were winning the Prem every year. Smells pretty much like a Blackburn boycott.
